Best food in this part of Bali, maybe even whole island

Went there with 2 friends and had the most amazing lunch during our stay in Munduk. Everything is cooked fresh and you can see the owner preparing meal close to you. They have an amazing view on jungle and rice terraces. I tried tomato soup, it wasn't cream soup and it had fresh tomatoes, onion and other vegetable and was one of the best I tried. Pork with sweet and sour sauce and rice was so good we came 2 days in the row. I would highly recommend you to visit this amazing place. Owner is so kind and great person.

This is a small warung. That means the cook is doing his / her very best to make you feel at home! Their cooking skills are truely amazing! Would fit for only top class restaurants! Be surprised by the authenticity of the dishes. Amazing what they serve - you won’t hardly find any better elsewhere! Really a hidden pearl!!

Excellent and super-friendly!!

We ate a lovely home-cooked and freshly prepared 3 course dinner and thoroughly enjoyed it. The spring rolls were crispy and tasty the pork rendang was delicious and the banana dessert was the highlight! We would definitely recommend a visit and Made and his family will give you a very warm welcome. After dinner, Seàn got taught some new card tricks and Breda learned how to make a temple offering. If we come back to Munduk, we will certainly come here again!

Freshly prepped food, some of the best views!!

This is worth a visit!! Freshly cooked before your eyes and a pack of playing cards on the table to entertain you while you wait…but you could just look at the view!! We were there on quite a rainy day and the clouds kept closing in, but every time it cleared your mind was blown again by the beauty of the jungle and rice fields below, such vibrant colours. The food is spot on and sooo cheap. I can’t fault it.

Heavenly food

We were at Heaven Warung a few times while stayed in Munduk. The food was very yummy - specially the greeny spring rolls cookies. Made - the owner treated us as friends, not like customers. Delicious food, homelike atmosphere and a great view from the top terrace - that makes the flavour of this place. Definitely number one in Munduk !!!

Fantastic experience

Family runs warung with mountain views. The meal is homemade and prepared in time when you ordered it. It’s fresh and tasty. When we visited this place there was only one woman - waiter and cook in one. But it didn’t matter on the contrary it was beneficial because we felt like at home. When we have been waiting for the food we could play cards or watch sunset over the mountains.

Great Warung, Fantastic owners!

With our group of 6 friends, we ate here at Warung Heaven on the recommendation of locals. On arrival we were told that it could take a bit longer because they prepare everything fresh. Because of the open kitchen, the beautiful view and the stick cards that were on the table, this was no problem at all. The food was delicious ! We have eaten here the best during our tour of Bali. Also Made (the owner) and his wife are very friendly . After dinner, Made suggested that the next morning we go on a tour with him to guide us along different waterfalls and to go canoeing with us, this was also a wonderful experience and very enjoyable. To round off the day, Made suggested playing a game of football against his local friends in a rented field, which was also a great experience. In short : Made and his wife have given us wonderful memories , thanks for that ! Greetings Brian , Tim , Gijs , Bart , Niels and Robin!

Great food and fabulous view

We had a great meal at Warung Heaven with the most fabulous view out over the mountains. It was a 30 minute taxi ride each way from our hotel to get there, but well worth it. It you're staying in the main area of Munduk it would be a great place to eat out.

What a fantastic lunch

What a Place! We stopped at Warung Heaven for lunch while exploring Munduk: breathtaking view, amazingly tasty and super freshly made food, friendly owner. Best lunch in Bali by far. And special mention for the incredible Dadar Gulung. Highly recommended!

Lovely place, we were treated by family. We got nasi campur and received huge portions for a cheap price. Don’t forget to try their lemongrass tea (hot or cold). Delicious food and good service. Highly recommend.

Made was a really great guy who treated us well with great food and good company. Hung out with him and his friend playing cards and chatting. Gave us free drinks on the house and treated us like friends. Food was great too! One of the best restaurant experience in Bali for us.

Absolutely fantastic place - so good that we visited 2 nights in a row! Ordered more than one meal each time as the food was so excellent. Such a lovely family run business with top notch service. Honestly cannot recommend this place enough!

An amazing gem if you want delicious, authentic local food.

I went twice with my boyfriend and we tried almost the entire food selection. Everything was super yummy and full of flavor. This is by far our favorite warung in Bali (and we live here). It's family owned and very small, everything is cooked fresh (so food might take time to be ready, especially if it's busy but it's part of the charm). Plus, you have an amazing view and some cards available to pass time while you enjoy tea or their fresh juices. Highly recommend. Thank you, thank you. We'll 100% be back whenever we return to Munduk.

Great food, great views and friendly owner

We enjoyed the delicious food here, especially the gado gado, best in the village. You can watch the owner prepare the meals and enjoy the view if it is not cloudy.
