It is a locals fast food restaurant. The food is average, but it is cheap. They have the usual samosas and dosas (the masala one is quite good). The place does not look clean, but you would not expect it to be. Definitely pop in for a quick bite, but do not expect anything fancy.

If you don't mind some dirt on the ground and some spice in your food, this place is great. We had samosas and other fried grain dishes that are served with a few different liquid curries. We also ordered a ghee masala which was a big buttery roti filled with delicious, spicy potatoes. Everything was quite tasty and really different... More

Authentic vegetarian Indian food. Went for dinner and ordered sodas and thosais which came with unlimited curry, raita and dhal. Also got deep fried goods for breakfast which were very nice.

You might have to get veg food in Sri Lanka...but this is good. Very economical, you will get South Indian food. But do not delay for dinner because you might not anything to eat.......

We were looking for vegetarian food and the city has very less to offer the same. Post recommendation from localities we reached there and found that the place is very dingy, super dirty and very unfriendly staff. In the case where one doesn't have any other choice you can go to Ambaals which diagonally opposite to this place. Nothing fancy... More

Stopped by here for a quick bite. Communication isn't straight forward but managed to work it out with the waiter and food was very tasty but spicy. If you struggle with the heat then ask for a yogurt. That did the trick

We came here on our first night in Nuwara Eliya. It has a rather unpromising appearance and we entered with a little trepidation! Nevertheless, the staff did their best to help and we chose a few dishes from the menu on the board, not really knowing what we would get. String hoppers were fine, and vegetable samosas (cold) were lovely;... More
