Great place to stop by for tea, snacks or even a main meal. Its located along the Awissawella - Nuwara Eliya road and is managed by Zesta tea. They have some quality tea and some great food, well prepared with proper hygiene factors. Staff is...friendly and helpful. Their seating is arranged in an open space. Highly recommend and definitely worth a revisit.More

Yesterday was my second bad experience at this once serene tea house on the way to Nuwara Eliya . The waiters are not availble or unattentive. The manager or the supervisor is very rude i have to say. We had some excellent tea n average...cake slices. My son wanted some chips to take away. The waiter packed the chips in a plastic box which had very few chips. The manager suddenly appeared and scolded the waiter for not using a paper bag. It was in front of me .I asked why and he said it costs Rs 20 A similar incident happened with the same guy two months ago. When i confronted him he walked away.. Its such a shame that this place which we used to enjoy a stop over n have lovely tea has come to this low level.More

I had a really good experience in the place. Nice place to spend with family, with the aroma of hot cup of tea, unfortunately ther's no Coffee. ONLY Tea. We had masala tea and that was so nice with the climate. One thing I had to...mention is that the Wash rooms were very clean and to my surprise with a baby change table attached which was very useful as I took my 1 yr old kid with me. Overall very nice place to pull over if you are on a long travel. This restaurant offers free wi-fi for their customers.More

The lunch menu did not have a dessert segment. The manager is totally disengaged from his clients. Apart from the above, it is a good stopover place enroute to Colombo

Did not get most of the items we wanted to have. Manager was too busy doing his book work and did not pay any attention to customer needs while the staff serving was trying their level best to provide what they can within their powers....Location is excellent and the view is great. This place have so much potential. Our visit was in September 2018 and unfortunately not available choose from drop down menu Therefore went for January 2019 being the nearest.More

Very careless customer service and dirty cups and sources. They offered tea cups with stain and sugar with ants. Actually very ugly tea cups. Tea is very testy but not enough hot. Poor hospitality cannot recommend for better service place for guests. Staff were not...polite and not apologise for their faults.More

We were quite famished when we came to this restaurant on the way from Hatton. THeir lunch buffet was simply yummy. Really enjoyed the ambience and the staff were pretty friendly as well. Definitely worth a visit if you are passing by that way.

We went to the tea cup when going back home from N’Eliya on the last day of a long weekend. It was very crowded and there were not enough people to take the orders. All in all, the strawberry with ice cream was superb! It...had at least 3 strawberries sliced into a yummy ice cream (most probably it should be highland vanilla icecream) Also we had yummy veg rolls (there were no fish rolls it seems because of the crowd). If you want to refresh and have a bite when going highlands in Sri lanka, visit this place! Highly recommend!More
