We stopped in for lunch on a recent road trip. The authentic southwest flavors shine! We both really enjoyed the food and the warm hospitality. The red and green chilies were both robust and flavorful and not overly spicy. The guac and salsa are as fresh and chunky as they come.

We love good Mexican food, and it's a bonus to find it in a quaint spot with great service. Enjoyed everything we ordered although the shredded beef tacos and chili rellinos were sooo good. I'll return just for the delicious refried beans and to try the margaritas....frankly doubt you'd go wrong with anything on the menu. Highly Recommend!

I was pleasantly impressed with both the food and the service. The true southwest flavors shine through. We both loved the food. The chilies were robust with flavor without being overpowered with heat. Service was great. Nothing about this place was bland just solid flavors!

It was not bad but it was not very good. Bland. I was very disappointed after reading all the reviews. I expected so much better. I do not recommend this place.

We ordered quite a few items and it was evident everything was prepared with fresh ingredients. The salsa was fantastic.

We came into town to visit Mesa Verde, saw the great reviews, and went to La Casita for dinner. It was so great we came back for lunch the next day! The staff is very accommodating and the chips and salsa were great. My friends recommend the meat; they said it is juicy and delicious. They also have great vegetarian... More

Used the reviews from TA to make this selection and was more than satisfied. This is a small location with limited seating BUT excellent food and was reasonably priced. I had the shrimp ceviche which was an appetizer but large enough for a main dish. It was delicious! I will be returning and yes, the margaritas were tasty as well.

Picked this restaurant online traveling out from Mesa Verde National Park. What a treasure! We really enjoyed the food and the family atmosphere. Nachely (I may be seriously misspelling her name - forgive me!) was really nice to us and it was clear she was proud of her restaurant - and she has every reason to be proud of it!... More

Very helpful staff - we had no reservations but waited a few minutes at their bar. Margaritas were good; expected Mexican dishes were very good too: fajitas, steaks, beans, tortillas (I couldn't make out which were corn or wheat, but it did not matter - both were very good).

Thank PGuarda
