I was suprised by this place, I had heard varied opinions and I have to admit I an not a fan of quick serve restaurants so I am glad that I waited to go in until after they switched to full service. Our server Dominique was simply amazing, attentive and awesome. She made sure we liked our food, that every... More

This is one of those terrible joints that doesn't respect the craft of BBQ enough to serve the meats fresh. It's typically microwaved to bring back to temperature, and the crazy part is they'll zap it in plain view of the overpaying customer. The sides are terrible and the place tends be empty. Thus the reason to have to microwave... More

Beautiful building! The "fat boy taco" is the best! Ask about the their secret menu!! They have a wonderful sauce called "pig out sauce" that is a must!!

We were greeted by friendly staff who helped us to decide what to order. We ended up getting one senior meal and one sandwich. That seemed to be enough for out of town travelers more tired than hungry. Brisket was a bit on the dry side but that is what the BBQ sauce is for. It was not busy the... More

Tried the brisket po'boy, the pulled pork po'boy, onion rings, and fried pickles. The brisket was tender and had decent flavor. Best thing we ordered. Pork was ok. Coleslaw ok. None of the sauces were special. Onion rings were soft and mushy. Terrible. Same with the fried pickles. I think the batter tasted ok but they were not cooked long... More

I showed up close to closing, with only one other party there. Since the counter service serves up the BBQ in tinfoil packets in a foam takeout box, I decided to just take it back to my motel. There is a liquor store next door, but not beer served in the restaurant. The sausage is very unusual, spicy and formed... More

What a terrific find! I've had BBQ all across the nation and this is some of the best I've experienced. Country atmosphere and suitable for the entire family. Ordered four different cuts of meat and they were all cooked perfectly. Can't say enough to promote this venue...will return next time I'm in Cortez. If yo like BBQ give them a... More

I expected full service and got self serve.....disappointing. No adult beverages....disappointing. Food was okay, but the biggest disappointment was the young lady who took our order....no customer service skills.

Very informal dining. Rustic decor. Pepsi products. Amazing food. Large portions. Terrific prices. Fantastic variety of barbecued meats. Gluten free side dishes. Family friendly.
