I have never been to china, which does not matter, good comfort food is universal. The food here is excellent, the people that take your order are pleasant and helpful. The food is made to order, so it comes out hot and delicious. Their tea's are awesome, but the beers and wines are meh and a bit pricey. I would... More

First off, kudos on the humorous restaurant name - Chinese food in a heavily German-American state - it cracks me up. Went here for lunch with my wife. It's a clean and bright restaurant in the Hilldale mall, where you order at the counter and they deliver to your table. We split an order of Xiao Long Bao, while she... More

I went to this restaurant with a Meet-Up group and loved it, so much, that I brought my family. They make delicious dumplings & noodles...all super fresh. Very impressed! You do have to wait, a bit, for your food however, it is well worth it!

The tall man at the cashier was very friendly and explained me the ordering process. He also explained me the cooking process and how many pieces they sell a day. The service is fast and the food is good.

First time visiting. Got lost because of construction that was not detected by GPS. Called owner and he gave me exact instructions to get there despite language barrier. Open atmosphere where you can sit and people watch. Menu was not clear but owner took the time to explain what each item we were interested in was. A little pricey but... More

Ate here with a friend for lunch on a Wednesday. There is road construction on the street they are on but if you park in the ramp around the corner its easy to walk to. Place was clean and not busy at 11:45. You order and pay at the counter and they bring out your food. We both ordered rice... More

Although by the name this might seem like a German restaurant it is a Chinese restaurant specializing in Dumplings, Bao Zi and Noodle Bowls. They recently moved across the street from the previous location (which is being demolished with the next Hilldale renovation). This is simply furnished, larger, clean and bright...a great improvement. The open kitchen has much more room... More

First visit to the new location, and tried the new-on-the-menu spring rolls as a treat. Noticed quite a few new menu items, including some new salads (carb loading is no longer the only option). Got the usual peanut noodles with haus sticker, and all was delicious. The lady next to me got the home style tomato and egg, and it... More

Asian restaurant. Decent Asian food. Might not be my thing - I don't know. Hipsters seem to like it though. Definitely full of them.

For my taste both the steamed dumplings and the stir fried vegetables were over salted. For Chinese food the combination of vegetables was a bit odd but probably based on what's available in Wisconsin. The place is pleasantly minimal in decor and quite busy at lunch time. Mother's w children, business people and shoppers seem to be the clientele.
