Even though the restaurant is a bit small and crowded the delicious food makes up for it! Authentic Nepali food made from healthy fresh ingredients is the specialty of this restaurant. You can choose from vegetarian or meat dishes. Their dal and roti is the best!

Good food and friendly service. We were not very familiar with Nepali food, and the waiter patiently explained the menu and made recommendations. Lots of vegetarian options.

Let me just start by saying this is a cash only restaurant. I don't have any problems with that, but it's good to know before you get there. It's a fairly small restaurant on State Street with both indoor and outdoor seating. The food is Nepalese/Himalayan. There is a large number of vegetarian options and a smaller number of meat... It was enjoyable for me to try something unusual. My friend got the lamb plate and I got a combo vegetarian plate so I could try different things. I was completely unfamiliar with the foods so did not know what anything was, by name. The food was good the only disappointment was that I should have done my homework and... More

Very interesting and unusual restaurant. Food is from the Himalayan region and there is a wide variety available. We wanted to avoid highly spiced, so stuck to momochas, somosas, and cauliflower tarkari. All were delicious.

something has changed at this business- food has no taste- portions are smaller for same price- staff has a very bad attitude- (except the watiter was nice) down right rude old ladies, and foolish girl with too much make up on- when I'm paying good money for that pathetic chicken and rice and a table spoon of potato whatever it... This tiny restaurant is staffed with very welcoming people. Our server soon brought us citrusy ice water, and he explained the menu including the daily tarkari options. We all ordered one of the tarkari with roti (bread), and one of us also had the lentil soup (dal). All were tasty. The rest of the menu is extensive with good dinner... More

This tiny Nepalese restaurant on the Mall has only a few tables and it is favoured by locals. We were there between the busy times so could easily find a table. Family atmosphere, you are treated like a friend, the food is very tasty, and very good value. We loved it

Really nice place for simple Nepal food. The menu is limited food options with limited spacing. You get the sense of home cooked food. Only downside is this place accepts only cash.

This is a good place if you are looking for mild flavors. It is more like home made indian food with less spices. I am talking about the vegetarian dishes, I don't eat meat :) During summers, it is nice to sit outside and eat. I tried the vegetarian platter and the curry of the day. Both were good. I... More
