The Reuben was outstanding -- it couldn't be finished. Spring salad was huge and fabulous. But what we liked most was the atmosphere. Truly a neighborhood gem. I wish I lived near it. I would be there most nights.

So, recently had another Bad Breath Burger at the Weary, as it's been a flagship item, and my only fave thing to order there. This time, it was over-done, and had a huge half-slab of un-trimmed cream cheese on the burger - no care given to the way it looked or how hard it was to eat. Like SO many... More

Nice friendly local neighborhood restaurant with good food. Arrived at six and it was not really busy, but by 7 it was full. Families would come in and get an assortment of board and card games to play while eating. The salmon and wallye was excellent. It is a little noisy, mostly due to the tin ceiling.

You walk in and expect the place to call your name, alla Cheers. The restuarant is split in two by a wall, which would make live music a bit awkward, but the lunch stop before 3 pm. is the way to go. Unless you want to settle in for the night and drink yourself silly, a quick stop for a... More

We went there for lunch today for the first time because we saw they had good brunch reviews. Two people had the burgers with garlic cream cheese and garlic potatoes. They both really liked them! They even came with a little greens with a good dressing on the plate. I had the Mediterranean plate with homemade pita and humus. It... More

Delicious meals for our party of 9. Board games/card that you can borrow and play if you want to. Families and couples. Vegetarians and meat lovers were all satisfied.

The service is a bit slow but the food is worth the wait! Had the seasonal salad with roasted beets and leeks and it was delicious. Lots of different sandwiches and other items to choose from - all carefully prepared and yummy.

Went here after getting a recommendation from a friend. Got the Glogg/Grogg/Mulled Wine/Gluhwein, pretty darn good. Good two different kinds of sandwiches, pretty darn good. Got two pretty darn good beers. Went here by chance on new years eve. Great service, great atmosphere and everything was cool All in all, one of my favorite places in Madison.

We brought our two teen boys for an early New Year's Eve dinner this past Saturday night and had a fantastic time! The food was outstanding! My boys gobbled up their fried fish sandwiches, my husband's Reuben was great and I thoroughly enjoyed the salmon. The atmosphere is super-chill and we had a great time playing one of the many... Need I really say more - the Hungarian Goulash is a must and the food overall (I have had a few meals there) was great spot on great comfort food.
