Small place, and the food is for take out only. Great for a lunch outside, or at work. Not expensive.

I love pasties. I went to college for two years in the U.P. Of Michigan and they took their pasties seriously! I can say without reservation that these pasties, while not exactly the same as the very best I had in the UP, are on nearly same level. The seasoning is a little different - many of the pasties I've... More

This was definitely not a Yooper's pasty - it's better than that. Tender crust and generous fillings. I've been told by so many folks in the U.P. that I haven't been going to the right places if I think pasties are too dry - I just had to go to Teddtwedgers in Madison, WI to prove them right! Also, Anthony... More

Got a breakfast pastie at Myles Teddywedgers and it was pretty good but not like the pasties I have had in the UK. Good but not the same. Fast, friendly staff. Great location for eating on the go. Half a pastie is more than enough, they are HUGE and filling.

We were pleased to see the Teddy Wedges shop following our Capitol tour. Cornish traditional meat pie baked for the miners who were the source of the "badger" label in the Badger State. Being housed in the oldest commercial building on the Capitol square at the head of State street continues the history lesson. Cornish pasty is hearty fare baked... More

We decided to stop in and ordered the classic pastie. It was big enough for both of us. We had it cut in half and since there is no place to sit inside we sat by the Capital. We thought the pastie was good.

I visited Teddywedgers for lunch on a recent weekday. It's a tiny store on a triangular corner with no seating right across from the capitol. However, if the weather cooperates there is plenty of seating outside on the square. The menu consists of a variety of pasties. I was not familiar with pasties so I asked the cashier what they... Had the classic pastie. This is what I call coal miner food my grandma made this type of stuff for my grandpa. Those cold coal minors used to put these on a hot rock deep in the coal mines. Thick crust and filling taste was a plus. The one I had here was good since it had potatoes and butter... More

I used to work on the Square in the mid-80's and often had a teddywedger for lunch. Thirty years later and some things never change -- just as good now as they were then.
