Had a late dinner with a friend. Atmosphere was elegant and cheery. Had a few different Old Fashions and the fish fry (Friday). Some of the better Old Fashions I have had here in Wisconsin.

Saturday night craziness! The restaurant was packed but the service was great! Great beer selection and of course the Old fashions were spot on! We had a fabulous time.

The Old Fashioned is always very busy, so I tend to sit at the bar, where the service is quicker. Their fried walleye is excellent, served with very fresh French fries. This is a great place to get the true Madison experience and it's on...More

We probably visit The Old Fashined a few times a year. The cheese board, curds, and burgers are always great. My husband loves the Bloody Mary's and I enjoy the (duh) Old Fashon.

So we were told you cannot leave Madison without trying the cheese curds. All roads led to the Old Fashioned, several locals told us to go there. There was a 45 minute wait but they take your cell so you can leave. We actually went...More

They don't take reservations. The restaurant is on two levels, so you may have to wait a while to be seated on the level you enter on. It is usually pretty crowded so getting around in a wheelchair might be difficult but... More
