This place is a real treat. The decor and the ambience are well done. I've been to Ireland twice. The food is excellent and the service is cordial.

I do not live in Madison. We arrrived at 4PM for our dinner reservation after UW Madison graduation on May 13. I was not impressed by the menu to begin with. but chose the fish and chips. Our table for 8 was upstairs along with about 12 other friends who also had a graduate. We ordered drinks which came promptly.... More

I have been looking forward to stopping it to see the newly remodeled Brocach on the square for awhile now and finally was able to last weekend. The interior atmosphere is wonderful and looks really nice. Overall, my experience was great. The staff and new menu is perfect along with the knowledge on pairings and the food. It is authentic... Have been to Brocach several times over the years, usually for lunch. While I am not an expert on Irish food, I am pretty familiar with it and this place gets close authentic. The atmosphere is great, giving you the "I'm in Ireland" feeling, (Yes, I have been to Ireland)

Just happened to stumble across this place on St. Patty's Day, but still managed to find a place to sit. Ordered the fish fry and cold beers - no domestics on tap.

We hadn't been to the Brocach since the renovation.....very pleased with the renovation. A more hip Irish Pub...not dingy and dark, fresh, brighter, cleaner looking...big bar and comfortable seating area. We had one of the best waiters we have had in Madison...Sam. If you go...request you get him. He made our night enjoyable...attentive but not overbearing...engaging, but not annoying. Just... More

It was a very warm mid-February night and everybody was out to eat in Madison. We were walking around Capitol Square and saw this nice looking Irish Pub and decided to give it a try. We were worried it would be a long wait but we were seated fairly quickly and enjoyed a view of the capitol from our small... More

We were in Madison for the state wrestling tournament. A college student who lives in Madison recommended this restaurant. I had an old fasion that was amazing. For A Friday night the place seemed to be a ghost town. The food was good but I wouldn't say it was excellent. It is a nice cozy dimly light place. Overall our... More

Being next to the capital this place is exactly what you would expect. Fancy place with fairly high cost menu. Don't get me wrong, this place does not disappoint! Food was great. Drinks are a little spendy, at least for a person that consumes as I do. Also used to the middle of So. Dak. where beers are $3 at... More
