This was one of our first stops on our trip for breakfast in New Orleans and we ended up back again for a snack! Beignets were amazing! I don't drink coffee but my husband, sister and brother in law did and said the cafe au...More

I'm pretty sure Cafe du Monde beignets will be on heaven's menu. They're 3 to a serving. Don't wear dark clothes unless you don't mind leaving a powdered sugar trail. Their selection of drinks is limited, but an afternoon snack of beignets with milk is...More

I went with a group of friends for beignets and we were not disappointed! Warm, soft and delicious. We sat at a table and had approximately 20-25 minute wait as it was busy, but definitely worth it! Would absolutely recommend a visit.

My husband and I were here today for breakfast - their famous Beignets and Chicory coffee. These French donuts and coffee were heavenly. A true landmark and place to visit when in New Orleans. They are the original since 1862 so don't miss stopping here....More

I know this place looks like a tourist trap, but the beignets are actually really good! When I asked my friend who's been to NOLA before what I should try when I'm there, the first thing she recommended was Cafe du Monde. Try their beignets...More

Always a favorite stop for beignets. Sometimes is can be very crowded but the wait is generally not long. Whatever you do, don't wear black or powered sugar will surly show. :)

It's hard to argue with 24 hours of beignets. They're crowded during the day but after hitting Bourbon st, there's almost no line and they really hit the spot. Highly recommended.

I don't think you will have an issue Mon-Thurs. If you go on the weekend, I suggest going early in the morning (before 10am) or really late at night (after 10pm). Even more true if there are big events going on (Mardi Gras... More
