Wonderful food! Refreshing in a town full of fried food! My husband had the Cuban luau sandwich; he loved it. I had the green goddess wedge salad and the soup of the day which was dairy free, creamy, and delicious!!! This hole in the wall restaurant was a hidden gem!

Strolling down Exchange Alley one evening we passed by and decided to return for a meal during our stay in NOLA. Since we love locally sourced, fresh ingredients, this restaurant fit the bill. The seating is limited and a very causal atmosphere. It was perfect for us. We will be returning.

I'm vegetarian and my g/f is not. We can both eat here and still have great food. Starting the day with Sweet Potato Biscuits is a MUST! if only I could take a dozen (warm) home with me! Different flavors for both the carnivore and the vegetarian are much better than most restaurants providing a "salad" for us non-meateaters. In... More

The Green Goddess has something to eat on their menu for everyone no matter the dietary restriction. With that said, the food has somewhat deteriorated over the past few years, but they still produce some decent casual fare with a defining assortment to chose from.

We enjoyed our first meal so much we went back for a second! Both times it was delicious and it was one of the few places my husband (who has numerous food allergies) could eat. It's not just for people on restricted diets though. I highly recommend it for anyone.

nothing flash but very pleasant sitting outside on a warm evening on the paved laneway off the busy streets. Reasonably priced and very tasty food.

Enjoyed a terrific dinner while in NO on business. Our service was terrific and I was happy to see all of the vegetarian and vegan options while my dinner partner was happy to see all of the local cuisine options like Mofongo. I enjoyed the sweet potato soup on the little street with string lights, no cars and palm trees.... More

My spouse is a very healthy eater and wanted a nice salad for lunch. The hotel concierge recommended green goddess and we were both glad we took his recommendation as the restaurant met both our needs. My bride had the citrus salad with shrimp that was very large and was absolutely terrific with a top notch dressing. I had a... More

The menu is exotic and has about 3-4 vegetarian options. I went there twice. The soup is good and so also the fresh juice. A definite visit for vegetarians visiting NOLA.

The sweet potato soup and cheese grits are amazing! Such a nice place for dining alfresco that's off the beaten path.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
