Visited on recommendation from concierge at hotel. Both perfected Poboys, mine shrimp and other alligator both really good with the tastiest fries. Surroundings very good and the service friendly and efficient great southern hospitality.

My family decided to dinner here because of recommendations from our cousin who is local. Originally from North Carolina, we are used to great southern hospitality, and this establishment lacks just that. Since we had a huge party, we expected a wait, but what we...More

After such a bad experience at 'Felix's restaurant' we decided to try Royal House... what a difference in the attitude of staff, the decor and ambience. This is a restaurant worth visiting, great food at a reasonable price without the rude girl on the door....More

Great food and the kid's chicken tenders were fantastic. I wanted more of them. I loved the French onion soup, as it was exactly as it was supposed to be, flavorful, cheesy, and good crouton on it. The drinks were good too. Would go back...More

Sat on the balcony overlooking St. Louis street and had a perfect evening. Our server treated is like we were family since the moment we walked in. He took the time to talk about New Orleans, things to do, asked about our stay, gave suggesting...More

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
