I had the scallops with cauliflower. Got four scallops, and two tiny pieces of cauliflower. Thank goodness I had wine and ordered a side of those tasty garlic fries (albeit they were somewhat greaser that regular fries and some were burned). Service was very good. Seating was good in their relatively new place. My wife had the brisket which she... More

Went last night for a late reservation. Food was bland and mediocre. My wife's trout was raw and cold. I told the server and he said "well that's because we only sear it for a second." High hopes, would not recommend

I highly recommend this restaurant, it was more than fabulous. I had the scallop dish and my husband went with the brisket and parm fries, the bread pudding was delicious too. We got to meet Chef Nathaniel, the entire staff treated us like royalty.

The chef at Boucherie is a genius. I chose Boucherie on a whim and it paid off. I chose the boudin balls with garlicky aioli, wagyu beef brisket with parmesan fries and Krispy Kreme bread pudding. I recommend this restaurant to any Foodie or anyone looking for an excellent meal this is the place for you. The service was magnificent.... More

We truly enjoyed this restaurant; The food is incredible, and the service is outstanding! We started out with the boudin balls, which were awesome with the sauce. My husband had the steak, which he said was delicious (he left literally nothing on the plate). I ordered the fried gnocchi dish that was to die for. Be sure to save room... More

We love being surprised by unanticipated delicious food and exceptional service- and Boucherie hit the mark. The restaurant is clean and unfussy, yet thoughtfully modern and filled with buzzing diners. Our server expertly guided us through a prodigious menu- meaning we could have ordered everything, but there were only four of us! Happily, everything we ordered delivered, nothing let us... More

Four foodie friends in New Orleans for Christmas vacation came here on the recommendation of my cousin. We had a wonderful dinner. Started with boudin balls, then starters of shrimp and grit cakes, collards and grit fries (amazing), arugala salad, grilled romaine ceasar, then apple cheddar soup, pork ribs, seared pork cake, and gnocchi. Krispy Kreme bread pudding and chocolate... More

Boucher is a modest restaurant offering a limited number of dishes. But what great food--goat cheese and fig salad, Caesar salad, roasted beef Po' boy, sausage Po' boy, brisket, beers and wine. It's a feast for lunch or dinner. Don't miss Boucherie.

Went here for a nice dinner while on vacation with my bestie. Everything was amazing. We had a fantastic server, drinks were delicious, food was phenomenal (in mean Krispy Kreme bread pudding, cmoon). They have a lot of small plates you can share or a fixe menu so you can sample more for a great value! We will be back.

Thank Taryn A

Staying in Uptown / Carrollton

Neighbourhood Profile
Uptown / Carrollton
Very much their own self sufficient unit within the greater metro area, Uptown and Carrollton tone down the urban edge with a friendly attitude and collegiate feel. Home to Tulane and Loyola Universities, all the students living in the area ensure that Uptown and Carrollton stay youthful, cosmopolitan and vibrantly fun. Two of the liveliest thoroughfares for nightlife and socializing (and yes of course more of the city’s outstandingly good food and live music) are Oak Street and Maple Street. For a truly wild time, the expansive acreage of Audubon Park, with its zoo, golf course, and actual patches of swampy wetlands, means peace and quiet are never too far away.
