We stopped by here for a lunch to-go about an hour before we had to check out of our hotel. The deep-fried oyster Po'Boy sandwiches we had were scrumptious! The remoulade sauce was served on the side, so you could add as much as you...More

The pearl is a simple dining experience at a decent price. Clean and our waitress was super pleasant. We ordered a half order of oysters, red beans and rice (upon suggestion of the waitress) and a crab cake. Oysters are just that...what else can you...More

We stopped in here for lunch - including pecan pie straight from the oven. Inside resembles a mid-century diner and the staff was very, very friendly!

It was like stepping into a 1950's dinner. I had their gumbo and wasn't disappointed. Very good food. Clean place just looks like something from Happy Days and was waiting for Fonzy to show up.

We had a party of three traveling on vacation. Place a sort of 50's diner meets noveau chic decor. Oysters Rockefeller were pretty good--needed a little more zing though. Shrimp Po boy featured good bread--but again--no zing. Gator po' boy--same way. Red Beans rice and...More

little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
