I had researched some places to eat and this one had high reviews. They did not disappoint. My husband said the catfish had the best taste of any he had eaten. I had gotten the blackened chicken salad (to stay gluten-free) and the chicken had an excellent rub on it without being too hot. The atmosphere was great as they... More

The food was amazing and our waitress was great. Highly recommend this place. Loved the crab Benedict which was served on a biscuit.

Delicious eggs Benedict--on a biscuit. Reasonably priced at $10.00. Regular bacon & eggs were pricey at $10.00 but tasty. The place was clean and waiters friendly. It's right beside the Galleria Hotel so convenient for us staying there. Otherwise there are cheaper places not too far away.

Located in a wonderful old brick building, this casual restaurant features small intimate areas as well as large areas for groups plus a large bar area with dining available. TV's galore for the sports enthusiasts and a piano player a few nights a week too. Big menu with everything you expect on a New Orleans menu from gumbo to jambalaya... More

A fair and below restaurant. It was recommended by the hotel But we had a great dissatisfaction and disappointment. A fast food basically. Nothing special and not even close to Cajun and kriole cuisine

Great morning for a wonderful breakfast! Eggs cooked perfectly to order, thick cut bacon with a hickory smoked flavor, flaky biscuits with a tasty gravy and chesy grits. Great service, too!

After walking around warm New Orleans, I started getting hungry. Found Huck Fins. It was just me for lunch. Felt very comfortable eating alone. Waitress was very nice. Great friendly personality. Enjoyed a NO brew on tap and the NO sampler platter. Loved the etoufee ( I know I didn't spell that right.) Fast service.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
