We stopped by at 4pm on a Friday. We were pushed into back room by the blonde hostess from. We had the beef PO' boy. It was dry and tasted terrible. It was a pricey bed experience. I don't recommend this dump to anybody. Go to Parkway Bakery.

Poboys, French Fires & beer in quick order. Delicious food will satisfy. The wings & fried mozzarella cheese sticks were great too!

We went here for a "meet and greet" for families and friends who were in town for my cousins wedding. They picked the place because it is large and has picnic table style seating in the middle and booths on the outside with the bar along one of the side walls. Little did we realize there was a $10 cover... More

It looks like a fun locals joint but I went there to watch the sugar bowl and they ran out of beer on tap and they didn't have olives for martinis. The poor boys were mediocre at best. Service wasn't friendly. They appear to cater mostly to the regulars which I respect but in a tourist town they should be... More

I went here for lunch on New Year's Day. This is like the soup nazi of po boy sandwich places. I placed two orders for two parties that arrived about an hour apart. The first order took 45 minutes to be prepared. The second order took over an hour. Employees in the kitchen were yelling at each other. Customers were... More

Tracey's was pretty busy when we arrived. It was okay. Nice to have so much open doorways. Air conditioners drip water on the booth tables and benches. They were out of several things including the roast beef. Food was okay. Bathrooms were terribly maintained.

Looking for a place to have lunch after the garden tour and came across Tracey's. The service was ok and the poboys good and generous. The drinks were also tasty and reasonably priced. One of the better places for poboys in the area.

Tracey's is good pub grub located in the Garden District on Magazine Street. This is a lively, slightly loud place. It is definitely local faire. We enjoyed our poboy sandwiches and fries for lunch. I got the catfish poboy. We went back for cocktails before meeting family for dinner.

Unfortunately Tracey's is a bit of a nightmare. I would say that it starts with management. The employees for the most part have a simple "don't care" attitude and make it known that they don't want to be there. I had a brief conversation with the manager who was quite friendly but really didn't seem to "get it".The only guy... More

Great for a beer, and oysters plus other food. The place is packed at weekends, we had a dog so could sit outside

Staying in Garden District

Neighbourhood Profile
Garden District
Head to the Garden District for the full-on New Orleans experience replete with quaintly clanking streetcars, proudly grandiose antebellum mansions, picture perfect avenues lined with live oaks loaded down with Spanish moss, and a wealth of beautiful churches and many more architectural marvels. Even a brief excursion here makes plain why it’s called the Garden District. So, when you visit be sure to give yourself ample time for admiration at a languidly slow pace befitting such gentile strand of riverside living and to allow you to maximize each opportunity to stop and smell the roses – and whichever other blooms you might come across. While taking it all in, you’d do well to dine at one of the city’s most beloved destinations for regional cuisine. Gourmands from far and wide (and right round the corner) swear the age-old Commander’s Palace is the best restaurant in town – and have been doing so since it opened back in 1880.
