Blink and you'll miss it on a corner in Mid-City this tiny place serves great donuts and donut holes. There are a few tables if you want to sit and have a coffee too but mainly this is to zip in and grab to go. I got a dozen assorted and there were all kinds of goodies including chocolate coconut,... So many different options for donuts. I stopped here on my last morning in town before heading off to the airport. I got a couple coconut, king cake donut, red velvet donut, and chocolate sprinkles. I love New Orleans and I always make it a point to stop in here for donuts while I'm in town

Saw this as we were riding the canal st streetcar heading to Parkway for lunch; must stop here, you will love the donuts, no matter the time of day, well worth the price; if you do not keep your eyes up and GPS on you'll blow right by it on the streetcar, luckily there is a stop just across the... We was staying at NOLA Grand Hotel and this place is 5 min walk. As I was walking up an New Orleans cop was leaving with donuts. That's what you want to see. Got the elvis and bacon eclair both was very good. Must try if you are near by.

My husband and I came here every morning for coffee and a donut, while we stayed in New Orleans. It was in walking distance from our hotel and we smelled it wafting down the street. I love Apple fritters and they have a good one. My husband is more a fan of plain glazed donuts, and those were really great... More

The donuts are light, not greasy,or overly sugary. They offer some unusual and delicious flavors, like maple bacon. My favorites are the apple fritter donut holes, chocolate covered, and buttermilk. Yummy !

I've been a Blue Dot regular for three years and can't recommend the place enough. They do specialty doughnuts very well (maple-bacon long John and others like red velvet and pb&j) but it's the classics that I keep going back for. Glazed buttermilk, wedding cake, and the apple fritters are my favorites but first timers should try the buttermilk drops.... More

Hidden little gem! looking for donuts in New Orleans didn't find anything other than the Beignets. Been there done that. overrated to me personally. Stumbled upon Blue Dot Donut's online tried them on 07/16/11 what a find. They have a Long John that has Maple glaze on top and Bacon!!!!!!!!!!!! wow talk about GR8!!!!!!!! it was really good sweet and salty the donut itself was warm and soft I highly recommend. A large variety of donuts and followed up my exit of New Orleans with one more stop at Blue Dot Donut's for the road. You gotta try it for yourself. Venture out of the French Quarter and find hidden treasures its worth the journey.
