Too many amazing things to choose from here! The quail done three ways was amazing. The sommelier was great in suggested cocktails off menu to suit our tastes and they were great. And the wine list though extensive has something for everyone. Great place.

Now that’s saying something! Everything about our meal was outstanding: our table, service, atmosphere, drinks and food. Divine gumbo, raw oysters and fish entrees. Just another reason to return to New Orleans :)

The venison carpaccio is excellent. They have good gumbo as well, but I suggest against the date by gumbo. Some people love it but to me I prefer the regular gumbo.

We stay in Royal Sonesta 2 or 3 times a year and have always considered Revolution, but declined due to having other favorite places in the city. Last night we had dinner there and it was AWFUL! The service was bad! It took 40 minutes...More

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living

of call for folks in search of a good time and a great
story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs

around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively
well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the

I would think a collared shirt and dress shorts should be OK. You should strongly consider adding shoes to the mix, too. :)

Yes, not well set up for children and very busy bar. This is a dressy high end establishment. I would try someplace else.

Serving Lunch on Fridays, Dinner nightly and Sunday Jazz Brunch. Restaurant R'evolution is the first joint venture of award-winning Chefs John Folse and Rick Tramonto offering modern, imaginative reinterpretations of classic Cajun and Creole cuisine. Steeped in the diverse historic and cultural influences of Louisiana, the menu features not only the chefs' interpretations of New Orleans classics such as gumbo and beignets, but also new creations highlighting ingredients from what Chef Folse refers to as "the swamp floor pantry." Tableside service components play an important role in the dining experience, promoting guest engagement about the history and evolution of the food they are enjoying. Soups such as Creole Louisiana Snapping Turtle Soup and Death by Gumbo play on unusual presentations of these traditional dishes that date back centuries. Desserts showcase classical New Orleans sweets done in a new and contemporary way.
