We had such a memorable meal here. There is almost too much to choose from. We had Oysters on the Half Shell R’evolution Style with cucumber lemon granita and tangerine salsa. I had the sweet breads as an appetizer and for my entree, the scallops with foie gras. My dinner companions had the rabbit. The wine list is excellent, as... More

We dined here for my husband's birthday Easter weekend. We used to live in New York and have eaten in European capitals, this was every bit as good. The decor is lovely, the service is impeccable, and the food was just scrumptious. It is pricey, so go with the expectation that you're just gonna spend a lot of money and... More

Make sure you are dressed properly, dress pants and preferably a sport coat. One thing I did notice about restaurants in New Orleans at least the nicer ones, do ask that you do not wear shorts and most patrons dress for the occasion. Easter Sunday lunch started with a wonderful Bloody Mary, I am not big on those but made... More

My husband and I were lucky enough to get a table (calling on the day of) for the Easter jazz brunch. This place is divine: gorgeous dining rooms, terrific musicians, super service, and delicious food. Check it out, if you don't mind spending some money, you will love it!

I have dined at the restaurant on many occasions. Literally everything on the menu is top notch. Most recently had the crab stuffed frog legs and Rabbit Natchez. Both was the best (frog/rabbit) I have had anywhere. When on business, the bar area is a perfect place for dinner as the bartenders and other staff are attentive, friendly, and know... More

i went here with my daughter who lives in New Orleans and a few friends. It was fairly new at the time. Each room in the restaurant has a different theme which i loved. It was very crowded but we went early. The food was really amazing. This place keeps your wine at the server table and requires the waiter... More

We walked into an elegant dining room luxuriously furnished. It was relatively quiet but our reservations were for 5:30. We started off with very good house salad with haricot vert and other crispy vegetables. For the entree I enjoyed the crawfish-stuffed redfish Napoleon with artichoke and oyster stew, with a fried crawfish boulette which melts in your mouth. My husband... More

Once again, incredible! Great team of servers and food was delish! Tartare was very good (although we liked it at Balise better). The scallops and foie gras were amazing. Great combination of flavors. Fine dining type place. A little on the stuffy side. Great for a special occasion.

Loved the setting - complete with courtyard with fountain. The food was amazing. Not sure which white wine we had, but it may have my vote for best ever.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
