My wife and I enjoyed dinner at Restaurant Revolution last night. On every trip to New Orleans we always eat at the best and most famous New Orleans restaurants but tonight we went out on the limb and tried a new one and we're glad we did! First what a perk if you are staying at the Royal Sonesta Hotel.... More

I'll start with the meal. We started with crab beignets and jamon iberico. The beignets are great. Loaded with crab meat and 4 different sauces to with the 4 to a plate. We also got baked oysters if I'm remembering. The is one food a love above all other and that is jamon iberico. It's on the menu for $40.... More

The food was good. The bartenders, doorman, and waitstaff were all extremely professional. I wish I had taken note of the late evening managers name- I only remember that our visit was on a Sunday. I had a question concerning parking out in front of his establishment which was mostly dismissed and never really answered. Thank you Daniel and Bryan... More

Don't miss even if you are not into fine dining. They were able to accommodate a large group on short notice for Sunday brunch. It exceeded my expectations. The whole table was satisfied with their meal particularly the biscuits, pain pardu, and beignets. The bacon was perfect and I assume they cured on premises. The service was outstanding and attentive.... More

We had Thanksgiving dinner at R'evolution. It was hard to get a reservation, so we recommend calling early. Staff was well trained and friendly. Food was delicious. I am a Celiac, and they took very good care to make sure I stayed gluten free.

When a restaurant has over 1,100 very good to excellent reviews the challenge is to say something useful rather than just "great food". if you haveresearching you will know that this is pretty expensive food. I am not a "foodie" so the outstanding feature for me was the service. We had a team of 3 who were helpful, knowledgeable and... More

We had a large group of 14 for a meal at Restaurant R'evolution. The service by Troy & Deshawn kept the evening flowing and their suggestions were on point. I have a food allergy and they took that seriously when reviewing the menu. The food was fantastic and menu had a wide array of options. No complaints by any in... More

We ate at Restaurant R'evolution for Sunday brunch. To say the food was amazing would be an understatement. We were there for our anniversary and the whole staff made us feel so special during our entire meal. We shared the Death by Gumbo. The flavor was so intense. It was just perfect. We then shared the Crab Beignets. I thought... More

We have been to the restaurant numerous times. The food is excellent. The service is superb. However, one glaring fault is the price of wine. Bottles of red wine are twice as much as in other upscale New Orleans restaurants. I recommend having a drink at the bar. Ask for Reggie, the bartender. He may be the best in New... More

This was our first trip to Restaurant R'evolution, and we had a party of 4 with a pre made reservation. We were seated immediately and loved the decor and look of the building, bar area, and dining room. The service was fantastic the entire time, and it was a very enjoyable experience. The only reason why I didn't give them... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
