Staff was wonderful, food was delicious. the ambiance New Orleansian. It's a nice place to go with family and friends. Very relaxed atmosphere. You can grab a quick bite to eat or dine on a full course meal

We decided to lunch in their restaurant prior to watching the movie. Truthfully we have tried eating lunch while watching a movie before and never enjoyed the experience; snacks yes, real meals no. - We ordered the grilled chicken salad and were very pleased with it, the desserts not so much. The three mini lemon brûlées my friend ordered were... More

enjoy the truffle oil popcorn, it is heavenly paired with a bottle of bubbly. We always have a fun time here, great small plates to share before or during the movie.

I only stopped in to try out their Bloody Mary based on another review from a different site. It was delicious! From the infused vodka to ALL the garnishes; picketed green beans, olives, cheese, lemon, lime and chorizo. That's right I said chorizo! Would def get another if I was in the mall.

This is a review of GUSTO in Canal Place, reflecting their presence in the THEATERS AT CANAL PLACE. GUSTO also has a separate, stand-alone bistro setting which may be superior to their food and service as delivered in the theater setting. Yep, that's right, they serve you in the adjacent theaters, both before AND DURING the show! Pretty cool idea,... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
