Wow, Wow, Wow! There is nothing like the service you receive at an Emeril's Restaurant. This is my third. My bucket list includes visiting all. I ordered the barbeque Shrimp and the chicken and waffles. I enjoyed my menu items as well as a mimosa. Everything was soooooo good. If you are visiting New Orleans, you MUST go to Emeril's.... our group of 7 had 630 pm reservation and we're seated immediately. Very attentive but unrushed service. One error resulted in one of our meals being comped, very generous treatment. Everyone enjoyed their meals which included pork chops. Sword fish and duck, cream of mushroom and bacon soup along with several great deserts. Everyone agreed the Banana Cream pie was... More

Great atmosphere with a really nice bar as you enter the restaurant. We read reviews before we went and a bunch of them made reference to the multiple servers you would have, so we were ready for it. I thought it was a nice touch, never had to look around to ask for anything, someone was always close by. We... More

Very nice ambiance, friendly service. Good cocktails. Interesting wine list. Barbecued shrimp - very good! Lamb nachos excellent! Burgers are not bad.

We had a party of six (including an infant) and the staff was friendly. I had the sea bass special which the fish was tasty and fresh. Others were pleased with their dishes and the wine list is long but there are some decent moderate priced wines. My only complaint is that it lacked a bit of that unique flavor... More

Let me start with location which is just a short Uber from Canal street maybe $5. The atmosphere of this establishment, very eloquent and dim, with rich fixtures and white linens. The service is impeccable as good as any restaurant I have dined at. I ordered a ribeye and it was a good size but cooked improperly. I did not... More

We came in for our first night in new Orleans. This place came highly recommended! We were sat down by a waitress named Alexis...she was the one that ruined it. First off....she loudly berated one of her trainees for holding wine glasses wrong...the things she said to this poor man made me cringe...(btw..her two "trainees" were over the top helpful,... Our goal, has always been, to not only “meet our guests expectations, but to exceed them” and we sincerely thank you for visiting our restaurant recently, but regrettably and obviously, this experience, fell short of the standards we set for ourselves and we truly apologize. Our General Manager would like to contact you directly about your experience which will only... More

If you are super hungry, I would skip this restaurant. We waited close to an hour for our food. It was painful. I could not believe it would take so long for us to get our meal. That was the longest wait I have ever experienced. To boot, I ordered mussels and they were steamed so much they were like... More

Opened in 1990 by Chef Emeril Lagasse in New Orleans, Emeril's Restaurant serves his signature style of "New New Orleans" cuisine, featuring the best local and regional seasonal ingredients. Nestled in a renovated pharmacy warehouse on Tchoupitoulas Street in the heart of the city's Warehouse District, Emeril's interior features rustic exposed brick and glass walls flanking one side of the main dining room, with plaster-lathe wood forming a wine wall on the other. Guests may enjoy watching the action in the kitchen while enjoying a meal at the chef's Food Bar.

Staying in Arts District / Warehouse District

Neighbourhood Profile
Arts District / Warehouse District
Once a thriving industrial zone, today this district is home to a buzzing arts scene with an amazing assortment of galleries, boutiques, and studios having moved in and set up shop throughout the disused warehouses for which the area is so well known. Much of the art you'll come across here is local in scope, ownership and inspiration. However, among the many old brick warehouses are modern structures of steel and glass housing large-scale cultural institutions of national prominence such as the National World War II Museum, the Contemporary Arts Center, and the Ogden Museum of Southern Art. Just as eye catching as what’s on view inside the galleries and museums is the chance to see your ship come in at the Julia Street Cruise Terminal, which serves as a wistful reminder of the city’s historic maritime prominence.
