I am a Private Chef and very difficult to find a restaurant that impress me in regards of foods. My husband decided to take to me to this place and LO! it was very expensive! but it was so good.It was an excellent service too.And the food..... Si Delicieux! I am impressed!
Commander's Palace deserves its fame. Service is outstanding, food is delicious and the Jazz is great. The cherry on the cake is the incredible atmosphere of the historic building, totally worth it to splurge a bit there!
We go to N.O. every year and always eat at C.P. at least once. This year I went with a group of 8 friends. I reminded them several times that there was a dress code (no jeans, collared shirts, etc). We were early so we went to the bar. Here is where my disappointments occurred. For the first time I... More
We have been to Commanders on numerous occasions. Our last time was in '15. We had nothing short of a super experience there. Our experience the last time was a challenge. I don't think Tory was there. Service and food was a challenge. We did have exceptionally good experiences previously. We hope they get back on track.
Went there on a Sunday and on top of the great food, there was live music. Expensive but something special. Do not try to go without reservation.
What wonderful service great food we went for lunch don't miss the 25c martine . All round great experience will come back if back in New Orleans
Upon entry the staff was very attentive. We were asked to follow a wait staff employee. We were led upstairs to the garden view room. Promptly seated we noticed the fine detail and wonderful view. The garden is lit up at night and is charming. Our waiter and staff arrived promptly and filled our water glasses. The waiter explained the... More
We dined in one of the upstairs dining rooms enjoying the turtle soup and bread pudding soufflé- consider the latter a must-do at this restaurant. The osso buco of lamb was, unfortunately, tough. Service was a little slow.
My daughter and I made reservations on short notice and the restaurant was more than accommodating. Entering the restaurant, we were greeted by no less than 15 servers and the maître d'...and I mean GREETED. Each and every one of these wonderful people spoke to us as we walked through the restaurant and upstairs to the Garden Room. Stunning greenery... More

I would like to know why my 2 messages were not answered when i inquired as to why I was overcharged by $45 on my credit card for a lunch. I wrote a very good review on Trip Adviser for my lunch there in August, but when I got home and checked my credit card bill I saw that I was charged $73 for my single lunch that should have been $28. I wrote in twice but had no reply, so I disputed it with my credit card company and they credited me for the $45 overcharge. Now I am sorry I wrote such a great review for this restaurant.
