We were told we had to go to the Commander’s Palace on our first visit to New Orleans. We were able to make a reservation to celebrate our visit and our 20th Anniversary! The service at Commander’s Palace is amazing. When checking in with the...More

We all stuffed ourselves silly and had fantastic meals. The majority of our group had the 3 course selection and I’ll be having dreams about the bread pudding soufflé. I would definitely recommend if you’re up for a little splurge!

My wife and I had lunch at Commander’s Palace today and it was exceptional! We had high expectations based on recommendations and Commander’s didn’t disappoint. The service was excellent with servers attentive but not overly so where you feel like they are hovering. Can’t beat...More

There are many wonderful restaurants in New Orleans and this is sadly no longer one of them. The place is tired. The decor even more so with some of the ugliest chandeliers I have ever seen. It is also clear the wait staff only extends...More

Whatever guide books and online reviews tell you, this restaurant is NOT the quintessential New Orleans dining experience. If it were, I would never return to the Big Easy. When I dined there around 25 years ago it was sensational. Today, it is a grand...More

We ate here today at their jazz brunch. There is just no way Commander's Palace rates anything but a five star. Excellent food, top notch service, beautiful surroundings, and a jazz trio on top of all that. I started off with the Ponchatoula strawberry salad....More

Commander's Palace welcomes everyone but we do have a dress code. It's a festive atmosphere! Shorts are never allowed. Inventive modern New Orleans cooking coexists with our Haute Creole. Sense the team's professional grace clothed in the warmth of the Brennan Family's brand of hospitality. From your first sip of a Sazerac to your last crumb of bread pudding soufflé, we hope you are pampered and delighted...and go ahead be a little bad...that's what living in New Orleans is all about.
