This is fine dining restaurant. The place is on the expensive side but the quality of food, wine and service is exceptional. We had some seafood appetizers including shrimp and lobster. They were delicious and the lobster was so sweet - we got the whole...More

We went to the bar first and had the BBQ shrimp app and a glass of wine. Service was great and so was the shrimp. Then we headed down for dinner. Justin was our server and was terrific. He was very easy going, funny, and...More

Dickie Brennan's was the best meal we had in NOLA. The service was outstanding. The food incredible. We decided to split the lobster tail and steak. We had the best caramel Apple martini's. We will be back when we return to NOLA.

We didn’t see our main server much as he seemed busy with other tables. The asst server wasn’t knowledgeable about the menu as we expected. I ordered a filet Pris fix and although filets were good the rest of the pris fix items were not....More

Each time I’m in NOLA I entertain clients at Dickie Brennan’s Steak House and have never been disappointed. This restaurant consistently delivers great food with great service. The wine list is very good. The atmosphere is great and comfortable to entertain clients. Try the Gumbo.

Had dinner here on 12/30 and it was delicious. I loved my steak. The caesar salad was also delicious. I don't recall the sides we ordered because the steak and caesar were so good. My husband loved his Bone-in ribeye

Our family had Christmas Eve dinner at Dickie Brennan’s this year. We had reservations and were sat right upon arrival. Our waiter was great. The boys had the Reveillon dinner and my husband and zi had steaks. Everything was wonderful. The bread pudding was amazing!

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts

The restaurant you are thinking of That is connected to the Astor Crowne Plaza is Bourbon House, which is our sister restaurant. We are a couple doors down at 716 Iberville so only a short walk from the Astor.

This restaurant is mainly a steak house. They do offer several seafood dishes and salads, but the majority of dishes contain meat.

I've only eaten there at night. It's not so formal but I wouldn't wear super-casual attire to eat here.
