Monday night. House Filet medium well was dry but companions praised their 14-oz. Strips at medium. Side vegetables were average. Desserts OK. Service was attentive. The place can get loud.

We ended up hungry for steak in New Orleans so we tried Dickie Brennan's. It was a good choice. This is a fine dining experience with all the trimmings.

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and

touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts

The restaurant you are thinking of That is connected to the Astor Crowne Plaza is Bourbon House, which is our sister restaurant. We are a couple doors down at 716 Iberville so only a short walk from the Astor.
We are travelling to New Orleans with a few couples and one of which are vegetarian....does your menu cater to vegetarians?

This restaurant is mainly a steak house. They do offer several seafood dishes and salads, but the majority of dishes contain meat.

I've only eaten there at night. It's not so formal but I wouldn't wear super-casual attire to eat here.
