We came to Muriel's for dinner on our last night in Nola. The appetizer crepes were great, my favourite part of the meal. The entrees were really good as well and left enough room for dessert of delicious bread pudding. We were also surprised at the affordability considering the meal we had. Thanks!

Had drinks on the balcony. Extensive wine and Bourbon selection. Bartender gave great advice on the wine and Bourbon. The bar was nice too. I would also come back for a drink in the bar.

Great food, decent drink selection. A little pricey for me, but my clients were paying. Great food! Loved everything I had and the atmosphere was VERY New Orleans. Highly recommend.

Muriel's is not to be missed. The food is extraordinary and they have an appealing mixed drinks menu. My husband had the pork chop and it was probably the best meal he had during our trip. I had the shrimp and grits and the portion was quite plentiful (and delicious!). Ideal Jackson Square location. Ask for a window seat for... More

Not much more can be said the crawfish crepes are amazing. The rest of the brunch also very good. Turtle soup, lobster omelette, Eggs Venney. Muriel's did not disappoint.

We were here for a private event and had a wonderful meal. The feast included a seafood course, a poultry course and a lamb course as well as a cheese course and dessert. Each course was beautifully presented and well executed. The servers were professional and knowledgeable. We hope to return in the future.

We went to Muriel's off of a recommendation from the forum, all I can say is Thank You for the recommendation! Wow it was great. Very nice atmosphere, feels like a fine dining restaurant, and reasonably priced. For appetizers, my hubby ordered the Baked Oysters and I had the Wild Mushroom Gnocchi. It was so delicious! I probably should have... More

My husband and I stayed at the Place du Armes right down the street from Muriel's. Every night during our stay in the French Quarter, we would head to the bar at Muriel's and have a nightcap in Arlene's station. She was so delightful. Very friendly and always had great drink recommendations. On our last night in NOLA, we had... More

Great location, one of the most photogenic building in French Quarter. 2. Limited menus but very tasty food. 3. Excellent customer services. 4. Excellent dessert-- best bread pudding in town? 5. Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
