It was Coolinary Month so we selected the appetizer, entree and dessert in one set price. Service was perfectly attentive and wanted for nothing at this restaurant.

This is a wonderful public square. There were street vendors during the day and spontaneous musicians playing too. There are local shops surrounding the square with horse drawn carriages near by for hire.

Excellent dinner. All dishes are just perfectly cooked. Price is ok vs quality of the meal. Nice restaurant room in the old french quartier of New Orleans.

I had the Coolinary menu and it was great. Good food, good value for money. Unfortunately, it was raining so the balcony area was closed. The staff were attentive but did not hover. And as a solo diner, I appreciated getting a good seat and...More

Wonderful resturant for any celebration. We happened in one afternoon for drinks upstairs on the balcony and decided to return with our friends the next evening for a celebration. We got lucky and went to NOLA during Coolinary week so we ended up with fabulous...More

Crab goat cheese crepes were yummy. I had pork chop. Asked for medium ( pink center) and got well. Tad over done but glaze was great. I would order again. Turtle soup was great. Service was good. No complaint. Creme brulee was very good.

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty
Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port
of call for folks in search of a good time and a great
story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs

around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively
well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the

Pretty lax, I would recommend at least a collared shirt or a button down (no sneakers) for a man, something nice, dress, or classy jeans and top for a women, no flip flops.

We did not find it loud, but moderate in noise level - a very nice place and noise did not distract

Description
The Bistro at Muriel’s Jackson Square offers New Orleans classics like Gumbo, BBQ Shrimp, Oysters "Muriel", Turtle soup, Fried Gulf Shrimp Po-boy, Crabmeat Imperial, Shrimp Remoulade & contemporary Creole cuisine like Pecan Crusted Drum & Wood Grilled Tuna while the Courtyard Bar is the perfect place to drop by for drinks & appetizers. The Séance Lounge is the place for a relaxed, comfortable meeting before or after dining. Comprised of two areas, The Outer & The Inner Séance, the Séance also tells the story of a mystic & checkered past. The Outer Séance addresses the New Orleans era of Storyville & when Muriel's Jackson Square was one of the French Quarter's best bordellos! The Inner Séance is the preferred domain of the resident ghost, Pierre Antoine Lepardi Jourdan, & is the perfect spot for an intimate conversation & a drink amongst its plush surroundings.
