Went for brunch. Beautiful setting. This place has the elegance promised in a New Orleans brunch. The egg dishes were delicious and well prepared. The freshness of the breads was awesome. Very good service. Delicious drinks. A wonderful experience.

Excellent experience. Concierge supposedly made reservation but restaurant could not find. They had a table and handled very professionally. Wait staff very knowledgeable, helpful, and extremely pleasant. Both eggs benedict we had were wonderfully prepared and presented. Must have Bananas Foster - flamed table side.

Top-notch service, beautiful atmosphere (and courtyard,) and perfectly prepared food. There are so many reviews about brunch, but go for dinner and you will not be disappointed. Sit outside if the weather is nice and feel like you have stepped back in time. (and bring the kids - the kid's menu is good, and the wait staff is happy to... More

A very pretty restaurant with a distinct New Orleans twist. Our waiter helped us make choices that did not disappoint. Next trip we will back for their bananas foster which comes highly recommended.

If you visit NOLA, you really need to go to brunch. We went to five star restaurants for dinner and for brunch and the brunches were our favorite. Brennan's was great. The food was delicious (and I sometimes find brunch challenging because I do not like eggs). The drinks were great. The service was fabulous. After eating, we went to... More

The staff was knowledgeable, polite, and willing to spend time answering any questions. They were laid back in that fantastic New Orleans style. The food was very good. The lobster appetizer is to die for.

We ate Sunday brunch at Brennan's during Mardi Gras and NBA All Star Weekend. It was perfect. The food was interesting and fulfilling and the service was impeccable. If you like Mimosas, try the strawberry one instead of the one mad with OJ. YUMMY!

My friend said this was a "to do" place on his list. I felt slightly underdressed as it is certainly a more formal environment! The waitstaff was fun and playful. More than once I laughed at the interactions with our waitress or the waiter and his table next to us. The food was excellent and the banana foster...well damn! I... More

Brennan's deserves its legendary reputation as a New Orleans culinary landmark. Prior to embarking on a cruise we had breakfast here, and it was wonderful. The service was a touch wobbly because the server and his assistant were out of sync, but the food was delicious. The Eggs Hussardes were perfectly cooked in a tasty wine sauce, the caramelized grapefruit... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
