As a family we ordered 10 different dishes. Every one looked great. I had the Cajun fish. It came with peas and potatoes. The fish was tasty and the sides were appropriate well done. They have a bar. The lunch crown appeared about 11:30. When...More

My wife and I returned to Mandina's on our most recent visit to New Orleans, 2 ½ years since our last visit and review of Mandina's. This place is genuine New Orleans, nothing fancy, just good down home cooking. It is still on our list...More

We were told we 'had' to come here for dinner, and my husband and I were not bowled over with what we had, catfish and fries. We prefer more spice to the cornmeal. Seems to be a very popular place though, so maybe we just...More

We were taken to this restaurant by friends who are NOLA natives. The food is delicious, affordable and classic. Don’t miss this little spot, it’s good food the way it’s been for decades in New Orleans...

Packed and rude but I hear that food is okay. They don’t take reservations. The place was packed so there was no place to stand. The staff and the waiting customers wanted my kids to get out of the way but there was no place...More

We were in New Orleans for just one day and were so fortunate to get a recommendation to eat dinner at Mandina's. What did we order? Scrimp, rice and beans of course! Real food for real people. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Stopped here for lunch after going to the sculpture garden. Conceniently located right off the streetcar route. Packed with locals for lunch, so you know its good. Had the fried chicken- fantastic. Can guarantee you won't leave hungry. Price is right as well.
