Recommended to this restaurant by our air B and B hosts and it did not disappoint. A little tricky to find since there is no signage outside - interesting! However, well worth the effort. Service by Sandra was spot on. Informative and engaging. Not rushed...More

I still enjoy Gautreau’s when I go to New Orleans 2 or 3 times a year but regretfully the departure of Sue Zemanick some time back is reflected negatively in the menu. Last week I had a very well prepared trippletail fish. Unfortunately it was...More

This is hands down the best restaurant in the city of New Orleans. It’s a hidden gem of our area. We go for all our special occasions or just to grab a few apps the duck confit is the best I have ever had. Sometimes...More

I was so impressed with the service at Gautreau's. Every server touched our table and it was seamless. Drinks were delivered in less than a minute, just the right amount of attention without hovering. In addition to the service, the food was great. Unique dishes...More

If you want to sample the best of New Orleans, where the well-heeled locals eat, you must come here. Fabulous, small and attractive venue in an Uptown neighborhood. The owner greets you at the door and it keeps getting better! Not to be missed.

What I would give to be one of the neighbors who can just stroll to Gautreaus anytime they like. You’d never know this is a restaurant as you pull in but 5 minutes into being seated you can see why folks recommended we make reservations...More

Uptown / Carrollton
Very much their own self sufficient unit within the
greater metro area, Uptown and Carrollton tone down

Carrollton stay youthful, cosmopolitan and vibrantly
