Great location to stop for breakfast while watching people walk around the square on St. Peter Street. We got the Cajun Eggs Benedict and Crab Cakes Eggs Benedict with Cajun Potatoes, and we loved both!

We enjoyed the open air setting when the heat struck in December. It was quite busy, but good service overall! Loved the chicken! Kids enjoyed their burgers. Also got a good view of the entertainment on the square.

We just stumbled on this place while trying to find lunch in the French Quarter. Incredible food! Everything we ordered was fantastic. I could have eaten another bowl of the Creole Gumbo. I wish we had gone back again before leaving.

Our first night in NOLA we ate here. We had great creole and Cajun fare. Loved it! Service was excellent too.

Husband and I picked this place as we were just walking by and hungry. We had slept in and were getting a late start on breakfast. Small wait, maybe 5 min. But worth it. I loved how all the doors were open and we could hear the music from the square and people watch. Good Coffee!! We ordered shrimp and... More

Great spot to people watch...crab cakes and the gator were amazing! Got the pasta and thought it was really good, but then had better later in the trip (still worth having!) BBQ shrimp was a lot of work and messy but well worth it! Sheepshead (fish) was the fish of the day and it was good. Busy place and a... More

After having EXCELLENT food in New Orleans for the last 3 days, this place is a major disappointment. Bloody Marys are from a mix that's not so great; oyster po' boy is mostly bread with not even enough oysters to cover one side of the roll and NO sauce, lettuce, etc; fries are undercooked and the service SUCKS! Had to... More

Typical tourist trap. Lousy food. Crappy service. Honestly the worst meal we've had in NOLA. This redtaurant should at least make a marginal effort to be decent. Several tables around us are complaining and asking for food to be removed from their bill.

We chose this for the location. The prices are reasonable for food. A bit high for alcohol. The atmosphere is OK, nothing fancy. Our waitress was quite pleasant. Food was tasty. Probably would not eat here again, but only because there are so many choices in New Orleans

We didn't realize how hard it would be to find a restaraunt open on Thanksgiving, so we took the street car to the French Quarter to go to the gumbo shop, such a long line, so we walked around and found this place. Very happy with the service & food, all our kids were glad we stopped here.

Thank Anastasia T

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
