Hustling place. Go to the front of the line and tell them you will sit anywhere. Much faster that way. Most people go here fort he oysters as our dining companions did. Many options and reasonable prices on all meals. Oysters did look excellent. we...More

... we always take NOLA newbies to see (and taste). The grill-roasted oysters are incredible. About $$20-25 per person for lunch, no booze, no dessert, before tip.

Acme Oyster’s is definitely worth a visit. It’s located on Bourbon Street and a expect to wait if you go for dinner. But, the line moved quick and the Chargrilled Oysters really do live up to the hype. We ordered a dozen chargrilled, a half...More

The wait staff is friendly and fast.Table/bar service moves quickly. The food comes out hot and fresh. If you order to go, it takes a bit longer. Definitely make the time to eat there when in town.

I don't usually give bad reviews, but this restaurant deserves one. Plus: craft beers on tap. Negatives: the server was pleasant but seamed more interested in chatting with the other servers. I had the Captain's fried platter. It was just overcooked fried fish with some...More

What they do well, they do very well - char broiled oysters, fresh oysters were both great. The cajun medley was awful, the "red beans" were so cooked it was mush, the gumbo a greasy gravy with rice, the sausage overcooked and dry. Service was...More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts

I don't think they take reservations. You would have to call and ask. Sorry.

Yes, you can bring children. I honestly didn't see a children's menu. However, the restaurant was clean, the wait staff friendly, and accommodating. When my daughter was small , we often shared a plate when a child's plate... More
