Ok, in all fairness, we came here Friday afternoon just after the St. Patrick's Day FQ walking parade ended, and wanted to get a quick bite before the big parade. We had 11 so the restaurant kinda freaked out and said they couldn't seat us, but we could go upstairs and get drinks and food by the bar. No problem.... More

My wife and I had dinner at the Crescent City Brewhouse on a Saturday night. We sat on the balcony and watched the Italian American parade. The service was excellent even though our server was extremely busy. I had Redfish St. Louis and my wife had duck. Both were excellent. We both had a Red Stallion beer which was good... More

French fries were beyond amazing! Crunchy and tasty , their burger was really well served too and cooked perfectly as asked (well done) their craft beer es also very tasty and had the artesanal taste to it. To my view dinner was a little expensive compared with other places in the area coming up to 100 usd for 3 people... More

Visited while on a weekend getaway to Nola. I had the alligator appetizer and the beer flight sampler, both of which were very good. The waiter was very attentive and informative, and did a great job. Would like to return when I have more time and a larger appetite!

Had another good meal, a beer sampler and White Zinfandel. The seafood cheesecake was delicious and the Caesar salad with grilled shrimp was very tasty. It would have been more appetizing had the tails been removed prior to leaving the kitchen. Our server, Aisha, was very pleasant and attentive without being intrusive. For a brewery, the beer selection is extremely... More

I enjoyed lunch on the balcony with my friend. We each got a beer. She got the sampler and enjoyed the chocolate beer the best. I enjoyed the weiss wheat beer. All the beers are brewed there. We both at an alligator sausage po boy. It was delicious! The only bummer was that they carried hunts ketchup and not Heinz!... More

We came for the beer but mostly enjoyed the food. We had a balcony seat, so great people watching. The server was extremely helpful when I mentioned that it was a Friday in Lent and I was looking for something meatless. He ran down the entire menu suggesting things that could be adjusted. In the end, I had a wonderful... More

We ended up at the Crescent City Brew House at the suggestion of our concierge after trying to get reservations at 4 other places. It was pretty good. Our group had the raw oysters, which were HUGE, red fish, tuna steak, gumbo and shrimp stuffed with crab. It was all really good--no complaints! The only beer they serve are their... More

Great attraction to visit while in New Orleans. Local beer at its best for sure. Be sure to get what they call "A Sampler" which is a pretty good sized glass of their beers which if I remember correctly there were six. Way enough for me. We also had the shrimp remoulade and an order of hot wings which all... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
