The staff were helpful and friendly and the menu had reasonable choice. I ordered the fish platter but when it came it was quite bland. The food was cooked ok but lacked any real taste, so much so that I left most of the food....When the waitress came to collect the dishes she was more interested in selling us a desert than enquiring why I had only eaten 25% or so of my meal. We were disappointed but hey ho. When the bill came hd been charged $12 each for a pint of lager. Beware of the beer prices in here as this was by quite a long way the most expensive beer we had in all our 4 days.More

Nathan the bartender was awesome! We went here a few times during our vacation. He was so attentive and great with suggestions! We loved the red fish and the shrimp and grits! Beer flight was great too!

Popped in after a long day of site seeing and so glad we did. We sat at the bar and our bar man was attentive and helpful. He even offered to try the beer before we ordered. We had oysters for starters and the were...juicy and quite large. For mains we had the Wild Mushroom Pasta which was full of flavour and the seafood sampler which consisted of hush puppies, catfish and prawns. There was a great jazz band playing and the atmosphere was fun. I can highly recommend when visiting the French Quarter.More

Decent enough food. Pricey for what you actually get. Rum and coke was the smallest, weakest, full of ice, most expensive drink I’ve had. Quite dark inside. Decent jazz playing. Was ok as it was raining 😉

While on vacation in New Orleans my family ate at Crescent City Brewhouse. I would never go back or recommend it. The service was poor. The food was mediocre and nothing to write home about. Part of my family’s food was cold by the time...they brought it ought to us to eat. The portions were tiny. To be honest it’s way overpriced for the quality and quantity of food and beverage you get. I would recommend the Ernst Cafe over this place hands down. We should have known something was up because they weren’t busy. Just as soon as we were seated 3 waitress walked by complaining because their shift was cut and they were being sent home early due to lack business. Avoid this place at all cost and find a better place to eat.More

Stopped in for a little snack and beverages. We were seated at a 4 top in the bar area. Cool building and even cooler waitress, but not in a good way. She was so rude, so we left after one round.

Tried two different beers at this place. Both of them lacked so much I don't know where to start. I have done breweries from the most southern point of Key West to the most northern point of Michigan and this by far was the worst....The IPA I had, had a terrible after taste. Sorry, just not a fan...More

A very nice Brewery house style bar incl. live music. Personally I can recommend the "flight" which is a mixture of multiple different beer variants from all over the world (incl. e.g. German beers).

We stopped in for dinner just expecting some burgers and we couldn't have been more wrong and impressed. The food was excellent. Their crab stuffed hush puppies and pork rinds were fantastic (and yes the burger was great). We were so pleasantly surprised.

The food was good. Service was quick, even with a lot of people around for the French Quarter Festival, we were able to get a table quickly. There were a variety of items on the menu and an oyster bar downstairs. The staff was friendly....My only negative was it was a little pricey.More

This brew pub used to be a go to place whenever I visited NOLA. A recent visit during the French Quarter Fest changed that. It is now an expensive tourist trap. The seafood jambalaya was essentially a $24 plate of dirty rice. When the waiter...asked if we wanted shrimp, the answer was yes, could not imagine seafood jambalaya without shrimp. He did not explain that the 4 dried out overcooked shrimp added would cost an extra $6. And the beer was $12 for a pint.More

Always make at least one stop here when in NOLA. Fantastic German-style beer (we love our German beer!) Staff is always friendly and bar staff is quick with the drinks. We had the oysters at the bar this time- incredible little beasts, biggest we’ve ever...seen, courtesy of Louis, the great ambassador of the Crescent City Brewery. Great man and worth a visit just to watch him work and have a chat.More

A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
