Fun fact: No where, ANYWHERE, except the front door of this place does it say they are closed Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. Made the trip all the way out because people were raving about this joint… 😖
Johnny Po Boys was not fancy but their Muffletta sandwich was absolutely delicious! Huge and delicious!
Agree 100% with Montanapescado review. Classic but average at best. Super crowded. Tables not clean if you can even find one. Long line. Way too much bread, not enough flavor. Pricey for greasy counter style food. Wanted to love it because its iconic.
This is a very New Orleans po boy experience, so a decent stop to try the local signature sandwich. Holding back the rating is that there was too much bread in the roll and too much breading on the seafood. It just tasted like lots...More
The staff that took our order was really kind. The wait was not long. Two things that knocked the rating down to 2/5 stars. First, the air conditioner spits water, so sit far away from it. Otherwise you’ll have AC water on you and on...More
This is a suprising good place to eat. We had the1/2 shrimp and Seafood Gumbo Combo. Both were very good.
Stopped here twice for breakfast. Had a breakfast sandwich and an omelet, both were excellent. Very informal place with counter service and cash only. A little piece of the old New Orleans before restaurant chains
We tried the shrimp and oyster poboys fully dressed. We also had the jambalaya. The poboys were not as good as some of the other places we tried. The sandwiches were very doughy. Overall, it’s a decent place for poboys. Jambalaya was very good though....More
I had the half and half shrimp / oyster po boy. Service was pretty quick even though the place was very crowded. I’ve had many sandwiches in my day and this was the best! Perfectly cooked seafood. Tons of lettuce tomatoes pickles and mayo. I...More
My husband and I had the crab po boys Okay but nothing special. Others at our table commented grits were tasteless and fried green tomatoes all batter. Wish we’d gone elsewhere
It's all in the name... We tried a vast amount of po-boys that week and none matched this restaurant. It's small and fairly cheap but the best part for me was the bread..I loved them here.
This was the best po boy I have ever eaten. There were so many options your could get and they also offered many other local specialties.
Wanted a po’boy, this place had po’boy in the name!! We stopped by! We had fried green tomatoes, jambalaya and a shrimp po’boy! It was all delicious! My husband and I split it all!!Too much food for one person! It cost us about $35 worth...More
