There shrimp wrapped in bacon was the best I have had along with the lemon martini was delicious. The band was great as well, this is a must visit place. Great service and you can do lunch, dinner what more can you ask for.

Our Krewe has a Luncheon at Mr.B's each Mardi Gras season and over the years we have always enjoyed excellent cuisine, great atmosphere and fantastic service.

Despite being one of the Quarter's newer standards, Mr. B's now feels like it has been there as long as Galatoire's or Arnauds, or any of the other classics. wonderful ambience and excellent food

Their specialty, Mr B's BBQ shrimp are delicious. So is the shrimp (wrapped in bacon) and grits along with the Brunch salad. Our first time there and I already want to go back. Nostalgic NoLa feel throughout the entire restaurant. Loved everything about it.

We were staying across the road at Hotel Monteleone. There was a band playing in the Carousel Bar and the room was jammed so very noisy. We decided to go across the road to Mr. B's Bistro. It too was busy but we got a couple of spots at the bar. The bartender made me the perfect martini (I am... More

Old school food and service, but in the good kind of way. Steak and seafood are the primary stars and everything we had was done well.

A New Orleans favorite on Royal Street across from the beautiful Hotel Monteleone. Great atmosphere and beautiful decor. There are some amazing options on the menu but the BBQ shrimp is what they're known for, and a personal favorite. Although casual, I'd say business casual with a definite feeling of refinement! One of the reasons NOLA is known for its... More

After a long day of touring we arrived at Mr. B's when they first open up and without a reservation. Sitting at the bar a waiter came over to talk and chat while waiting for the dining area to open. Well, before the evening was out, we had a proposed itinerary for the next couple of days, and tickets for... More

It was busy. We were seated quickly and got our food fast. Nice fish and cocktails! Didn't love the bread pudding.

We dined here for lunch and without a reservation; we were seated immediately. My husband ordered the barbecue shrimp and initially wondered why they put a bib on him. Well turns out, they know what they're doing because boy, did he need it! He didn't talk much while he ate because he said later it was just so good. I... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
