Stopped in for lunch. No problem getting a table. Lively atmosphere. Hardwood floors and wait staff dressed in tux. Unfortunately, I found the wait staff to be less professional than they appeared. Bags of Frech bread are provided. Bloody Mary's are nice and spicy. I went with the seafood gumbo which was seasoned perfectly and steaming hot. The burgers looked... More

We visited here with the singular goal of eating BBQ shrimp. Mission accomplished! Read through the scores of reviews here about it... it's worth coming here just to eat them, in a bib! We didn't have to wait long to be seated on a weeknight-10 minutes. Our table was within six inches of another couple; European seating is the order... More

We were in New Orleans to celebrate 3 resent college graduates and chose Mr B's as the special dinner, food was good but have never had worse service in any up scale restaurant. I am assuming the waiter thought we were going to be a cheap table! Not true though. This was my third visit and probably my last as... More

We chose to eat dinner here at the recommendation of a friend. I was only able to find reservations for lunch time online, even booking a few weeks ahead of our trip. We were disappointed when we had to cancel our lunch reservations due to a tour conflict. Thankfully, once there, our concierge was able to make reservations for dinner... More

This is a must when traveling to New Orleans! It is classy and dark and you'll see the same faces every year. The BBQ shrimp is a must try.....crispy bread to sop up the gravy! $1 martinis and bloody marys for lunch, yes please! It's one of those tastes you'll crave!!

We visited during a long weekend in New Orleans. This is a place that has it together. The servers are professional and efficient. Our primary server was friendly and appropriately chatty. It is a very busy kitchen and they did not disappoint. They brought warm bread that I believe was from Leidenhimers(? Sp)and we didn't want to fill up on... More

This was our second trip and made this out anniversary dinner. Though unable to get advanced reservation, the wait was only 30 minutes on a Wednesday. The food was excellent and creative. the three soup sampler and shrimp special are a must. The Filet was cooked to perfection. You cant go wrong.

My daughter in law and I were recommended to eat here by a friend, as we were on a girls weekend away this past weekend ... and we loved every second of our experience. The staff, the Creole food and the atmosphere were all wonderful. .. I can highly recommend this establishment!

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
