The restaurant has nice decor - love the murals all over. But the tables are too close. We felt the dinners could have been served hotter, maybe they were sitting too long before being brought out? The vegetables under the fish were a nice combination....More

We went here because of reviews and the non seafood options for one of our party . Service was friendly and prompt . Went with servers recommendations . The red fish was tasteless . The whole dish tasted like butter and no seasoning . The...More

Everything we ate was wonderful... however as a fair warning... the BBQ Shrimp and Oysters are Not BBQ at all. They come more as a Bang Bang sauce and disappointed a few within our group.

We had the privilege of having Ike, a true one man thrill wide as a waiter. His enthusiasm was so inviting and entertaining. As waiter he never really seemed to be there when we need to order and drinks took forever to arrive. Have to...More

The Red Fish Grill is beautifully decorated with ocean fish and animals in glass, wood and metal works of Art. We sat at the bar and ordered their famous bbq oysters. Save your $19.95 for a dozen , they tasted like tiny chicken fingers with...More

Order the Red Beans and Rice! I am not a big eater - but Red Fish Grill had the best flavored Red beans and rice I tasted. I did not care for the andouille - mealy, but the flavor was excellent.

Had reservations, seated promptly, Michael our server was outstanding. Very busy place but service was great and food was excellent, had the alligator ball appetizer, then the redfish with crawfish, Nicely spiced and well prepared. Very good food for such a large operation. Recommend highly

Came here just to have the dessert so didn’t eat anything else. The bread pudding was recommended to us by a local and it was absolutely superb. Make sure you save room for it if you’re eating lunch/dinner.

Atrocious food, steak unpalatable ... bland with ruined/spoiled/rancid after taste. Very limited wine menu. Staff couldn't be bothered to ask about the opinion of the meal, even when clearing a plate with 1.5 oz of the supper consumed.

We just happened to find this place, couldn't get into the restaurant, but got two seats at the bar in the corner. The alligator balls and the raw oysters were fabulous. Best food we've had in awhile on this trip. Service friendly. Prices ok.

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts

Ralph Brennan's award winning casual New Orleans seafood restaurant and oyster bar on Bourbon Street. (Voted seafood restaurant 4 years, best oyster po-boy 2010 & 2011). Don't miss Red Fish Grill restaurant's heavenly BBQ Oysters, signature Alligator Sausage & Seafood Gumbo, Grilled Redfish and Double Chocolate Bread Pudding. Casual and fun (a sea of metal fish in neon swim overhead bright, hand painted tables). Open for lunch and dinner 7 days with a lively cocktail and oyster bar going from 11 AM - 11 PM, the perfect place to ease into New Orleans' laid back French Quarter lifestyle or tell it goodbye until next time.
