Good eats and good music. Was bummed because they were out of the bread pudding so skipped dessert. Next time will go upstairs for the show.

Great place for good BBQ shrimp. Haven't tried anything else but if it's as good as their BBQ Shrimp, it's all great! This is also a jazz club with the live bands starting later. Get there early if you want to attend the show after...More

Snug Harbor Jazz Bistro is a jazzy type of place separated into a main dining area,a bar area and a separate jazz venue upstairs. They had a good menu for food and drinks and as well they featured some tasty looking desserts but I didn't...More

It's not easy finding places on the spot that have room for 6 people, especially around this district. We liked the atmosphere, prices and selection of food. Wish they had room for the live show in the back.

Some of the top Local Jazz acts play here. One of the few venues with a jazz room to sit and relax without standing in front of a stage in a crowd on Frenchmen's. Good Burgers in the restaurant.

The Marsalis play here which is worth hearing as the father usually plays one night a week and his son also plays on another night each week. Both shows are worth the entrance fee and you can make reservations online for the shows.

A friend recommended visiting this place for the music downstairs but we ended up coming for an early dinner on Saturday night and were very pleased. The food was really delicious and obviously all home made. The gumbo and pecan pie were particularly tasty. We...More

Two different people on the airplane suggested to eat at this place. Our hostess also said it was good. They all said to "try the burgers, omg!" There's a two page menu, only three burgers. Everyone made it sound like this was the burger joint...More

Faubourg Marigny & Bywater
Nestled between the French Quarter and the Ninth Ward,
the Faubourg Marigny & Bywater environs are largely
residential. Of course, folks around here love to go
out and have a good time as much as they do anywhere
in NOLA. And if out-of-towners want to join in the
festivities, well then so much the better! Home to
some of the most revered live music venues in New
Orleans, an eclectic gaggle of gourmand dining

Yes you do. Different rooms. I did not care that much for the food, but I do not eat spicy food so I was limited to a hamburger. Not what I went to New Orleans for. Enjoy
