Reservations were made and we arrived on time but were not served our brunch order for 1 hour and 15 minutes. The waiter seemed to either be unfamiliar with what he was doing or was on something. The chef had never heard of "basted eggs." The service was slow and poor and the food minimal in taste, preparation and quality.... More

The 5 of us walked to the restaurant after walking around seeing some sites after a meeting. Thought to have some dinner and listen to a bit of piano. Had the Brussel Sprouts and should have just had them for dinner. Yummy. Small menu but great because not a ton to chose from.

The Bombay Club is AMAZING and a must in New Orleans. It's beautiful, elegant, & the prices are fair. The food is delicious. I had the tagliatelle dish & it was one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. Also, our waiter was incredible!! Super nice, attentive, & so funny - made our group of 6 feel so relaxed... More

Wife found this great restaurant and bar. Hard to find a place that creates a drink not just pours a drink. I had a pimms and wife had a raspberry concoction. We both enjoyed the amazing atmosphere like stepping back in time. Service was excellent food great. A stop hear rounds out your trip to NOLA.

The Bombay Club is the epitome of a swanky Men's club. Coming in out of the bright sun to the dark wood and cozy chairs is a relief. It's a great place for a late night drink, and you might get lucky and see a live performer, but it's also a great place for Happy Hour. They have small snacks... More

We booked a table for 9 of us the day before Fat Tuesday, we were sat at a table at the back which kind of felt we was away from the atmosphere of the place. The staff very very helpful and given the time of year were patient with such a large group. The food was great and so were... More

Fine dining.....Bourbon Street, do it once, then stay away from it...1/2 to one block from it. The Bombay Club is Fine Dining/Jazz Club Restaurant. Just picture yourself, you're in a college library-upscale, with great live jazz, a bar in the middle of the room and an exquisite menu. The martinis (wife is an avid Lemon Drop/Grey Goose-she rates them) are... More

The appeal of this place is obvious from the moment you step in. Rich dark wood, comfortable chairs, craft cocktails, well dressed staff - it's clearly an upscale location. It was mainly empty when our group entered. I'm sure we were loud for the environment, and didn't look like the normal clientele in our St Patrick's Day t-shirts. We ordered... More

We invite you to come in to see our beautiful renovation project, and sample favorites from renowned Louisiana Chef, Nathan Richard. Richard has a strong background in the art of charcuterie, and the culinary instinct of a born-and-raised Louisianan. Chef Richard loves to experiment with flavors, and has brought to our quasi-British menu a Cajun twist. Instead of traditional bangers and mash, you'll find bangers and grits with black pudding and onion pan gravy. Scotch Eggs are served with boudin and collard greens. In addition to our dinner menu, we offer a wide selection of cocktails, bar snacks, and desserts. And don't forget-live music nightly! The bar is well known for the best and largest martini selection in town - single malt scotches, ports, reserved bourbons and premium cigars. Live music nightly showcases a changing cadre of small ensembles, jazz and cabaret performers. Happy Hour: Daily: 4pm - 7pm Dining Hours: Sun - Thurs: 4pm - 10pm Fri - Sat: 4pm - 11pm

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
