Reminded me of a typical European bakery cafe. We will be going back there again next time we are in town.

This place was truly amazing--everything was. Short line and worth it. Had the quiche, raspberry croissant, breakfast sandwich, tea, coffee, chocolate chip cookies and more. Everything was excellent.

We had fruit croissants, savory croissants, quiche and pastries. Everything was delicious. However, coffee and lattes were burnt and not to our liking. Food yes, beverages no.

This place just happened to be directly across the street from our hotel, so we figured we'd give it a try our first morning. Needless to say - we had breakfast here all 3 mornings . . . . and not because it was convenient - this place is amazing!! The variety of available foods, pastries, croissants, quiches, cakes -... I love starting my New Orleans mornings with an almond croissant and cafe au lait from this quaint bakery. I love the location on the edge of the French Quarter, away from the main tourist noise. I am always pleased and impressed with whatever pastries I buy here, but I keep going back for those almond croissants! Also wonderful macarons,... More

Pastries, Sandiches, Cakes and a little coffee. Food was ample with great flavours, but the coffee did not suit our rather selective pallets. It was made by a Barista, but the milk was burnt but that seems to be coomon in American cafes.

I felt so lucky to be told about this hidden gem in New Orleans. The pain au chocolat and normal cafe really taste like those in France, although it can't be exactly the same. I have came for a sandwich lunch too, and I took the grilled chicken which was good. I biked there from uptown everyday because the trip... More

A friend said this was her favorite spot in NOLA so I had to check it out. I can see why she loves it so. It is hidden away on quiet Ursuline St. And is such a lovely refuge from the loud Touristy side of the Quarter. It is delightful and welcoming, and the pastries are decadent and to die... More

Some food brings memories the chocolate croissant here brings me back to Paris. The palmier to my childhood and the chocolate eclairs straight into the moment. We were told the almond croissants were a must and they certainly are! Enjoyed 3 breakfast here, I will be back.

Thank Jennifer S

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
