I had lunch a few minutes ago and the chargrilled oysters where good. I also tried the crab fingers which was also good. The bread was freshly baked with butter. I really did enjoy it. So long New Orleans.

Was walking a lot that day, and thought that quick and late lunch will help go till the evening. This place seemed to be a good one as it had a lot of mixed crowd inside and all seemed to be happy. As I was...More

This place has a decent selection of seafood and they are especially known for their soft-shell crab and charred grilled oysters. I had both for dinner and they were ok but nothing to write home about. This is not a fine dining restaurant. We had...More

After scoping out the block long line at Acme Oyster Bar across the street, we opted to eat at Felix's instead. We were able to get a seat at the back bar fairly quickly. The street music wafted in from Bourbon Street which gave the...More

I've been eating here since I was a teenager, and always try to visit when I'm back in town. I enjoy sitting at the bar and having raw oysters. The oysters are fantastic. The men shucking oysters are always friendly, and often slip in an...More

We were so happy that someone had told us to go to Felix’s if Acme had a lineup. What a great meal! The oysters and blackened shrimp are perfect. Best bread pudding I have ever eaten. We shared an oyster appetizer, a shrimp platter and...More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts

Walk to Canal St and catch a city bus. It puts you off and you walk toward the back of the bus 2 blocks. I THINK the bus left from Canal & Magazine Streets. The museum is on Andrew Higgins Dr. between Camp and Magazine... More
