My husband got the steak special. He ate it all. Said it wasn't the best, but perfectly edible and price was amazing. I had Cajan meet pies. They were very good. The waiter was attentive. No complaints.

The Deja Vu is cafe not a fancy Bistro. The biscuits and gravy are to die for. Breakfast served 24 hours and it is most busy after 1 am with people stopping in for a bite after a night on Bourbon St. Not fancy but good.

This place was right near our Air BnB and was our go to spot. The food is pretty decent and the rum punch is tasty and less than anything you will find on Bourbon St.

An excellent eatery and bar open 24 hours. We are breakfast and dinner there and wasn't disappointed either time. Our server was Brandon and he was polite and chatty and very freindly

We came here from Dallas. This was our first stop and we tried a Bloody Mary made by the bartender Nicole who absolutely rocks! Freaking amazing. After that we went to several other places and none compared. After two days of other attempts... we came back and had another bar tender but hers was just as delicious. They set the... More

This bar & grill was recommended by my daughter who had visited it many times in the past. The menu has it all and fairly inexpensive by New Orleans standards. Our server was excellent and the food was outstanding. I wish we had gone here earlier in our trip as I definitely would have been a repeat customer for sure!

Wonderful bar to sit and hang out with friends. Great service. You don't have to compete with tourists for a drink. Great happy hour. Star Wars on the tv for May 4th.

I have been to NOLA over 60 times and have walked past this little gem multiple times. Don't blink or you will miss it. This is a great place to eat, and a bit off the beaten path. My guess is that locals go here more than tourists. Though my order was not correct--they offered to fix it, but I... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
