Found just not only the delectable foods but also nice ambiance with utmost care from the staff at this restaurant. The food was absolutely adored with well done cooked from chef. Good Place to Enjoy Meal after Visited Sites, Highly recommend this!
Saw this place recommended on a tv food show. When I visited New Orleans, I made it my business to travel out of the way to try the ribs as it looked amazing.
When we got there, we were a bit underwhelmed by how the...More
We took an Uber some distance to go to the Trip Advisor's #1 rated barbecue restaurant.
Five people ordered all different foods & sides. They barely had the chill off of them. The barbecue sauces (offered 2) were runny & not what we like, &...More
The baked beans were my friends favourite part of our entire trip. Don't get dressed up - walk in, order and enjoy. Very casual, very large outrageously good food. Loved it so much! My mouth is watering writing this review. Cant wait to come back...More

No reservations, but I'll concur they're not ever needed. One thing that I will add is that the locals swarm to this place, so it gets more crowded over lunch or right at the end of the workday. You can avoid the "crowdedness" by skewing before noon or after perhaps 6 PM. (The locals get off usually at 5 PM and many are picking up take-out.)

Definitely use Uber. There's a very active and pleasant Uber community in the area, we used it extensively while we were in town. The drivers were all great and had good recommendations on places to go locally, and I think the most we paid for a ride was $10 during a 2x surge pricing event. Otherwise our trips were between $5 (the minimum) and $10. 100% worth it if you don't know where you're going, or like The Joint - its a bit of a hike.
And I do NOT recommend walking there. You go through some interesting areas from downtown.
