We happened upon this restaurant for lunch. It was a delightful surprise. The food was beautiful and delicious. It felt like a place we had discovered and proceeded to share it with everyone. The Ahi Tuna dish was instantly crave-able. We will go back next...More

While shopping on Magazine Street, we were interested in a quick lunch. Stopped in after 2 pm, cute little spot with not many tables. Didn’t have a huge expectation going in just wanted something quick. Service was mediocre, but the food was phenomenal! The fish...More

We had lunch at Mayas yesterday and thought it a good experience for Latin food. The dip for the plantains was particularly good, portions huge and the atmosphere very welcoming. I'm not sure I'd go back just because this is not my favorite type of...More

Walking down Magazine st in Nola after a hard rain, we found ourselves in this funky chic fun Latino eatery. Delicious food and drinks. Talk to Trinity, the gentleman behind the bar, he's awesome. Guided us with amazing choices. Love this place!

The family stopped here after an eight hour drive from Dallas and was not disappointed. Mayas is a small bar/restaurant on Magazine St. that serves really great Latin and Mexican inspired dishes and some awesome watermelon sangria. As a starter we ordered tostones, which were...More

We thought we'd try Mayas restaurant, but weren't expecting anything special - just a nice lunch. Well, the food and service were all great. The hostess spaced the timing of serving us well between the appetizers, salad and entrée. We didn't feel like we were...More

ALERT: check your bill carefully! I was very disappointed with my dining experience at Mayas. Untrained staff gave the wrong prices for off the menu drink specials and attempted to charge the drinks for double the special price. When I told the waitress that I...More
