Fabulous views and a beautiful "alm" restaurant, stylish but not over the top. very good menu selection with well presented dishes which taste as good as they look. Friendly service and very buzzy - my favourite destination when skiing the fabulous Saalback resort.

The view from the Panorama Alm is breathtaking. The food is quite good and the prices are decent. I would definitely recommend it.

We came just after Christmas and before there was a huge rush of people. It is usually absolutely packed but was surprisingly quiet! Two days later it was packed again. The staff are friendly and the service was incredibly fast. The deer goulash was very very tasty. Typical Austrian mountain food and done well! Atmosphere is classic, Austrian mountain vibes.... One of the best wooden huts on the mountain above Saalbach, well worth a visit for just coffee or lunch, worth a trip and stop off. Great views and friendly staff.

Good food, friendly staff, perfect location. However, a little warning, if it is sunny and lots of guest, be prepared to wait for your food.

On a cold wet day, we had a very pleasant lunch at The Panoramaalm. If you walk from the cable car station it is about 15minutes pleasant walk downhill. Unfortunately the weekly birds of prey display was cancelled due to the weather, but we had lunch and walked back down to Saalbach.

Stopped for lunch whilst on a walk. There was Austrian music being played live. The food was good but an English menu would have helped. As the name suggests - fantastic views. Very clean. Good beer and prompt service

The Panorama Alm is easily reached by a path from the top station of the Kohlmais Bahn. There are deer in a forest enclosure, ponies etc and a small Museum. Bread baking displays and Alpine bands on fixed days thrown in. Very attractive buildings and terraces for good food and refreshments. Walk back up steep path to top station or... More

It's a bit of a trek but well worth the effort. The scenery is stunning. You can view 360o mountainous area. We visited in the summer. Lush green slopes on one side with full views to the glacier on the other. Wonderful. A must for anyone who can make the trip!
