Kupferkessel looks great from outside but the food is not the Best! There are much better Restaurants in Zell am See and for the quality of the food is it not cheap. The Pizza taste cheap. But the salad is huge and taste fresh :-)

We try to go skiing every year to Zell am See / Kaprun and everytime we have to visit Kupferkessel at least once if not more. I just love the food there, very big variety, fresh and tasty. Love the meat platter (grillplatter fur zwei)! One of my favourites! I always leave happy and full, and after a long day... More

We ate the day before Iron Man in this restaurant with 15-20 colleges. It is a nice restaurant, great space and good for groups. They serve nice traditional austrian food. The menu card was difficult to read because there was a lot going on on one page.

Been there just for a beer and something light to eat, but I was not able to resist to the temptations of the plates served on the other tables. Good food, tasty local plates, good lager beer.

One of best family restaurants in Zell am See. Extensive menu and good prices. Very friendly staff. Been over 20 times and never had a bad meal. My kids favourite.

Been eating here for the last few years when in Zell am See. Amazing choice of dishes, from traditional Austria, salads and pizzas. Huge portions so be warned!!!! Staff are pleasant and efficient. Prices very reasonable and something for everyone on the menu.

We were told by locals that this is a place many locals go and that's always a good sign. Sure enough, we had good friendly service and choose lunch dishes from their extensive menu. The drinks arrived very quickly and the food didn't take too long. The waiter coped well with our somewhat rough German. My wife had a spinach... More
