I'm hoping we just caught them in a bad day but the service was terrible. Incredibly slow & surly. Not enough staff for this busy lunchtime. Waited ages to order, ages for the food then ages to pay. Lost precious slope time on a lovely day. Maybe just a one-off....

The huge terrace is the perfect spot on a sunny day, and the food is very good and quite reasonable in price. It's also a popular spot in the evening when you can take a sleigh back down to the village. Traditional Austrian cooking.

This place is our new apres ski bar. We love the atmosphere, decor and the staff. Then it's a short ski back down to Nasserein. The Rodel Alm is a great place to have a relaxing drink and rest before skiing home. The staff are great even remembering our drinks order from the night before. The young lady behind the... More

We have just made our annual pilgrimage here whilst staying in Stuben. Thanks God nothing has changed! Can't say a lot about the menu as my wife and I always share the Tiroler Grostl. It is still the example which many others strive to imitate and often fail miserably (Cresta in Oberlech take note!). The fried egg on top was... More

Not our first visit- always on our list when we visit St Anton. Lovely sunny terrace or cosy and characterful inside. We were immediately greeted fro our drinks order. Food arrived quickly and was very good especially the pork shank.

The Rodel-Alm lies on a steep slope towards Nasserein. You can also get there via a blue/red slope. Or walk up by foot from the village. It's big but very cosy due to the different corners. Also a fireplace you can sit around. Very helpfull and friendly staff. The food is local and prepared very well. A really must go!... More

Finding the restaurant was alittle tricky, but once inside what a lovely setting. An open fire with typical Austrian furtniture. We were served very efficiently by 'the two middle aged women' and the fondue was exceptionally yummy as was the mixed grill.

We stopped for lunch during our ski day today. Despite a few little mix ups, service was great and friendly. Quality of food excellent!

The best restaurant in the area if you can handle the steep run and sharp turn left into the venue! Came here twice during our trip. First was the grostl - superb filling dish of potatoes, beef, bacon, onion with a fried egg on top. Last day was a treat of the huge pork knuckle with dumplings and sauerkraut which... More

Normally I would give thus restaurant a 5* rating. The food, service, friendly staff, value, all are great. We have been here several times with family and friends and always enjoyed our visit, except for the last lunch which was spoiled by a truly unfriendly staff member. We will be back in a couple of weeks and hope that this... More
