Strolled the harbour and chose this for dinner, mostly because it was windy & this establishment was the only one with glazed units, protecting the waves from hitting our table. Ordering some different dishes, 3 of them came somewhat simultaneously, the last (which was to our 5 year old son) came 10 minutes after the 3 other of us had... More

Perfect location and interesting interior, but tablecloths were dirty and food was very tasteless, obviously reheated and too expensive. Very disappointing.

to eat in the centre odf Umag, near the see, is always romantic. But when you eat bad, and the prices are higher than normal, and some foood seems to be reheated just before serving and, furthermore, they don't calculate the promise d discount of ten percent, you promise to yourself to give up romantic place....

The white wine we ordered was served room temperature and when we asked for a proper cooled bottle the waitress told us the wine is coming straight of the freezer (which it obviously didn’t) and said she cannot take it back because it’s already open. We ended up with ice cubes for the wine. The oysters we ordered were below... More

We had a dinner there in mid-July, and the quality was way above other seafood restaurants at Umag. The place has a two-level terrace with a great view of the sea and the sunset. We ordered from the menu, and did not have the weighted fish, which upset some other reviewers. Grilled calmari and shrimps were very good (although it's... More

We had dinner at San Marco, and the funny thing was that its menu was the same as another restaurant we were in the previous day. Anyway, the food was average and it is a shame that the food is not up to the beautiful location of the place. Prices are reasonable and we were offered 20% discount (but after... More

The place itself looks beautiful, set along the coast of Umag. The food they serve is average as is the service. Not a real bad place, but just average and overpriced for the quality of food they serve. Dining at their neighbors, restaurant Antica Torre, is by far more recommendable then dining at San Marco. I wouldn't go back to... More

So, I saw that we were not the only who had been cheated. :( I have just arrived to my home, Hungary and we have the same opinion as the previous polish guest. Waiter BRUTALLY cheating on the bills and exchange rate, first he promised a 10% discount, just for us, just for now. We had big group (11 adults,... More

Waiter cheating on the bills and exchange rate, arrogant, imposing his opinions, terrible food (I have never tasted so badly prepared catfish). Very high prices for hopeless quality and atmosphere
