After a rough day at the beach, I settled back at the King Kamehameha with a trip to the Bill Fish Bar, had a couple of chi-chis and was ready for dinner. I had the fish tacos and my wife ordered the Ramen noodle dish with pork char sui. Both were very tasty. The Bill Fish Bar is adjacent to... More

Bill Fish is the pool bar and grill at the Courtyard Marriott in Kona and like the hotel the decor is a little tired. The food was quite good and the service friendly but with a little attention this could be made into a far more interesting restaurant.

We tried most of the menu and had no complaints about anything that we ordered. If you have kids, the pizza, nachos, and fish tacos are the best value.

I loved having cocktails while hanging out by the pool. So relaxing every evening. It was never too crowded, and the weather was great.

The drinks are all good, and locals as well as tourists belly up to this bar. The "King Kam" Hotel is centrally located and has a large parking lot which you will pay to use. However, as the locals know and tourists with cars soon find out, parking cab be tough to come by during high season and summer

I ate here on my second night at the Marriott Hotel and really enjoyed it. The bar is right off the pool so it can be a bit noisy, but I was able to sit and read a magazine and didn't find it too disruptive. I had two strawberry/mango/banana daquirris, which were delicious, and a pepperoni pizza which was good... More

We had some salads on our last evening in Kona. Sitting by the pool and private beach was relaxing. The service was fine if not a bit relaxed. Overall, it was good way to end our stay.

We stayed at the King Kam and went to the pool/bar and it was a madhouse. The bar and tables were all full. So we sat at the pool (where they were also serving customers). After waiting about 10 minutes and having multiple servers walk right by us an ignore us, my husband went to the bar to try to... More

Eat at the main restaurant, Honu's on the Beach, or go in to town. Poor value, mediocre food, depressing atmosphere.
