Prices a little on the expensive side, but food was good. Took a while to come out, but they appeared to be understaffed, our waiter Tyler was working very hard, running round keeping everyone happy, good job Tyler. Overall not too bad

A bit pricey, but then so are a lot of places here, but if you want excellent service, excellent food and a great view of Kailua Bay then this is one of the better restaurants. I was especially pleased with the calamari steak dinner.
Kona Inn is a wonderful place to have a good meal and watch the beautiful Hawaiian sunsets. They don't rush you and the service is good . A place if you want more than just food.

Great service and food. I had a calamari steak sandwich. It was delicious. My wife got a $18 hamburger. She was less impressed. Nice outdoor dining though. Great view of the bay. Right on the water,
We loved everything about this historic place. The decor, the views, outdoor dining, the service and the food. Go for an early dinner before they get crowded and the prices are lower. Sit outside - its stunning. Have the coconut shrimp which is so delicious....More
Viewing the sunset while dining on excellently-prepared food is a great experience. The service was quite good, and we were able to relax after a day of sightseeing.
