We had a Pu Pu platter. We had Marlin poke which was excellent. There were so many interesting foods that we sampled. The salad dressing is wonderful. I tried poi and it was good here. Kava is a drink made from a root with a...More

Tucked behind other restaurants and shops, this tiny cafe/patio is worth finding. Yes, I went to try the kava. Yes, I was intrigued by the idea of the drink's supposed "clarifying" effects. And, yes, I'm glad I tried it. ***Even better is the sweet potato...More

Wonderful local food served on nice Hawaiian platters or bowls. Plenty big servings to share or inhale. A little hard to find so park behind in Coconut Plaza lot and walk down past Outback. Try the Kava as well!

You go here for three things. 1 The ambiance/atmosphere. Everybody is laid back and local. Very few tourists since there's no booze. Just writing this review I wish I was there right now. 2. The feeling. This stuff the way they make it is very...More

Went here because we thought it would be fun to try the kava. It was very fun! They describe the taste perfectly, sort of like dirty potato water with the slight numbing and a slight elevating of the mood. From photos it looks like a...More

Not everyday does one get to try kava. I've known about kava from a daughter who was invited into a Fijiian village & was served kava. This is the first place I've run into it myself. So I actually participated in the kava ceremony with...More

What a place to unwind! Enjoyed a bowl of Kava (not the taste) but VERY relaxing drink and the home cooked REAL Hawaiian food was SO delicious! Very fresh and made with love!

The taste is definitely not for everyone, but it's worth trying a couple. The Haupia and sweet potato pie was a wonderful dessert. Pulled pork was salty and tasty. Locals were relaxed and friendly. Saw several tourists come and go. It's worth sharing a bench...More
