We really enjoyed this restaurant I wasn't expecting authentic Hungarian goulash in Alaska but boy, was it good. My husband got a fresh grilled salmon that was perfectly cooked and amazingly fresh. Highly recommend

We stayed at the Windsong one night prior to our cruise. The restaurant is very nice, good selection of menu options and a nice bar area. After a long bus ride from Anchorage on a dreary, drizzly day I was just in the mood for some soup. The seafood chowder was superb and the beet salad was also great. We... More

We stayed a few nights at the Windsong Lodge. Since the Resurrection Roadhouse House is next door, we ate there for dinner and breakfast, and went there one night for drinks. The view of the Resurrection River and mountains is beautiful, and if the weather is nice it's worth it just to go and sit on the patio and have... More

Let's say the best crab cakes I have ever tasted. Also the chowder is a must. Visited for a light dinner and will be back. The ambiance is upscale rustic and our waiter was very knowledgeable and friendly. Try the chocolate cake dessert for that perfect ending to your meal.

The food was good - pricey but we found that to be the case all over Alaska. They serve an early breakfast as well which was great for us.

The snow capped mountain views from the dining room are a delight. Picture perfect. The dining room is very open, light and airy feeling. Many selections to choose from on the menu from burgers, soup, salad to steak. My selection was the chicken pot pie which was filled with chicken and veggies and tasted homemade.

We ate there 4 times and never left disappointed. We aren't big eaters so we mainly ordered off the appetizer, soup, salad and burgers menu. A lot of options and we loved every visit. The view on the deck is amazing !

We had some good meals at the restaurant and at the lounge. If you order the nachos you get a large platter. We were lucky that was all we ordered because we couldn't finish them. We had some nice weather and sitting on the deck was nice and had a nice view. The restaurant meal we ate was good food... More

The light and airy dining room is a bonus with the mountain views all around. Lots of choices on the menu from salads to full dinners.

Service was good and so were the drinks. We dined here on the once and that was sufficient. We all ordered beef stroganoff and that proved to be a disaster. The meal arrived on a bowl awash with some type of gravy that was out of place with this meal. The meal was served with a spoon and to date... More

Dear Review53, Thank you for your post. I want to apologize for the Beef Stroganoff not meeting your expectations and being such a disappointment. Your description of the dish does not sound like what you should have been served. The Stroganoff is a very popular dish that we get great comments on and it also is one of my favorites... More
