We read the reviews for this restaurant, which were very mixed, but decided to give it a try. With the number of good restaurants in Seward, we should have gone somewhere else. Our server seemed to have difficulty remembering our order, the food was average at best, and it was not inexpensive. We had much better experiences at other Seward... More

We enjoyed our delicious meal and the service was excellent. The interior is cozy and cabin-like, very rustic with tons of character. Great cornbread and honey butter. The Crab Cakes were excellent, and so were the Fish n Chips. The Captain's Platter was substantial. All in all, a very nice meal.

Cheap beer, lousy food.....actually the beer was great but the food really was kind of lousy. Bummer that we only had 2 nights/dinners in Seward and we wasted one at the Salmon Bake. Our party had ribs, chowder, and Halibut fish and chips. The halibut was the only food option that was really great, everything else (except the beer) was... More

Ahh where to start!? The food.. the food is probably the best in town and the best price to portion in alaska! The specials are always an amazing deal.. I always got the 1/2 snow crab and steak special.. it was enough to feed me for 2 days!!! It's also a cool environment with lots of neat things in there... More

This quaint restaurant was on my way to my to my lodging at Abode Well cabins. For a vegetarian I had several options. There's a pickle barrel that you can choose your own pickle. Very rustic, but comfortable with good service.

Great food and good local beers. The salmon was outstanding, and I had it with a local raspberry wheat.. We had great service- even made an off menu meal for the vegetarians in our party. Good 'Alaskan Atmosphere" as well..

We stopped for dinner. Sat at the bar, the staff were pleasant. Ordered the salmon bake, it was probably the worst I've had in alaska. Dry, thin tasteless. Seriously if your going to name the place after salmon, you should probably be able to prepare it better than I can at home on the east coast!

We had dinner at the Exit Glacier Salmon Bake twice during our stay in Seward. The food is really nice and affordable, and the atmosphere is great. The service was very good as well.

We picked this restaurant based on the TripAdvisor reviews. We were seated in a back area and it seemed like the server kept forgetting we were there. The food was decent but nothing special. We have had so many good meals in Alaska this one just seemed marginal. The prior reviews certainly didn't match the food we were served. It... More

My wife and I are staying at the Windsong and tried this local place. We liked the small and local atmosphere. The restaurant was busy, but the bartender seated us and let's us know the staff was busy but would get to as soon as possible. He was sincere and brought us water and menus. A little while later we... More
